I think ragin' might be better as the actual game-mode, with a Major event being a single wizard, perhaps, with objectives not too unlike what the revenant has (Avoid being seen/torment the clown/help existing threats when they need it)

As an additional, it should be noted that for some reason, there is no log of the sniper shot actually killing you, so time stamps aren't available; but I was following one of the Ops and whilst afk the incident happened, this being the relevant chat generated.

I play Procyon, one of the first timers I played her was also one of the first times I played as a miner. I found the kitten out on the asteroid and wondered if it was named after the founder, and took like the first 4 letters of their name at first. :p -
Indeed, we see what happens with War Nukies. The extra gear just is not worth having 50+ people try and kill you. Removing the validhunt rule and just permitting anything in regards to that, would just lead to antags getting crushed time and time again. Moxie is probably right, quite a lot of the rounds don't feel balanced for a population of three figures, but fixing that would likely require brand new content, which would take time to make.
There isn't really a silver bullet available to any of the issues that arise here, I think. Not yet, at least.

This has come up before in the guise of firing pins that detect loyalty implants and such - A very strong security buff, and as pointed only traitors have a counter to this - Vampires and shadowling thralls would be most impacted by this, changelings could live with this change.

The old system was, what, 14/21/28 days playtime for heads of staff and Captain, right?
Ultimately I'm not sure there is much we can do, there are always going to be people who are not amazing at particular jobs, but enjoy them nonetheless. There is no perfect solution here.

Using knowledge gained whilst you're dead after you get revived is not permitted, talking about objectives and stuff is fine in deadchat, even people talking about the objectives they had and such. The only issue is using this knowledge IC when you have no way of knowing.

In regards to - https://github.com/ParadiseSS13/Paradise/pull/7462 it could become difficult for vampires to survive the first few meals. I have an idea that may or may not help this.
Change the hypnotise spell so that it is an instant mute, and then knockout (10 seconds or so.) and also tells the victim in no uncertain terms that they have no idea of what just happened, they think they just fainted or something.
Ideally this will enable vampires to drain blood piece by piece, whilst providing the framework for them to power up AND not be ratted out on immediately by any victims.Feedback/comments/improvements/salt welcomed

Roleplay is equally valid if it's talking about your backstory in the bar, if you're doing clown shenanigans, science studies or strangling your lover in maint whilst whispering "Sorry".
A system or something where you're told that you've rolled X antag like, 30 seconds before the round starts means you could pick and choose (Or powergame the shit out of) which character fits the role or if you want a completely random character, which might work.
