  1. OOC name (ckey): Wisewill IC name : Sparkles (AI) -Malf round with Sparkles as AI. -Around 40-50 people, if i recall correctly. -Not a single borg for the AI to command. -Sparkles engaged code delta after like 10-15 minutes into the round. -The crew had around 600 second (10 minutes) to kill the AI after code delta was engaged. The crew didnt even make it into the upload, the core was intact, and i think Sparkles didn't even need to use the turrets. No survivors. The point of this? Malf AIs have the possibility to win in nearly any scenario, even without borgs. All malfunctioning AIs have special powers, like machine overload or destroying all RCDs. Those powers are often the key to victory if used correctly.
  2. The Autotraitor mode is bugged, it ignores the loyalty implants. So implanted people can be traitors. RP wise we can say that the syndicate has implanted them a false implant, or their implant is malfunctioning.
  3. Actually, i think you can get a xenomorph's brain out. Nobody tried, though, you cant keep a xeno down without killing him. Unless you inject him a ton of CH.
  4. Fair advice: if you want to arrest a Larkens, dont ignore when they ask you why you arrested her, specially if they have axes. Here Shadow and Bianca Larkens as enginners.
  5. I fairly doubt the coders will add it, but just in case, i will drop this for the eventual spriter: http://www.itcouldsaveyourlife.com/wp-c ... pters1.jpg
  6. Sparkles (Wisewill) as malfunctioning AI, this is describes the situation perfectly. Autor of the cable-art: SamsoniX
  7. You obviously miss a very important point in SS13: this is a ROLEPLAY game, even if we have light RP. The point of this game is not to win, or lose, or a green or red text at tne end. The point of this game is to have fun playing as 2d spehssmen. Dying is a part of the game, should you avoid it? of course, but what you are doing here is paranoic powergaming, ignoring any RP and just playing to win. This is NOT how you get Karma Points. How will you able to enjoy the game if you see a lethal threat in everybody? How won't you go insane if you assume that everybody is carrying a parapen is their PDAs? How is people supossed to like you or befriend you if you won't let anyone get close to you? Personally, i don't care at all if i win or lose as antag, the green text means absolutely nothing to me, the purpose of the antags is to avoid extended rounds and making the round fun for everybody (and yes, i am aware how much this last thing is ignored).
  8. Slime people do NOT have internal organs at all. There's nothing to break. No brain to have brain damage (Yes, you should RP a simple minded creature, not an intellingent slime scientist, xenobiologist is fine though),no kidneys, no liver (alchohol should be lethal to them, or at least affect them a lot), no lungs and no heart.
  9. When a security officer can't handcuff a criminal (usually because he forgot the handcuffs) what they usually do is beat the criminal to death "because it was a confimed syndicate and we are encouraged to kill the antags". What do you think they will do to slime people when they want to arrest them? Is that what you want for Squishy? Something usefull for slime people would be a "remove all clothing" verb, so they can ventcrawl quickly.
  10. Here, have a spehss mahreen. EDIT: source: http://facepunchss13.proboards.com/thre ... ss-mehreen
  11. Mainly because how the fuck are you supossed to fit +70 meatbags in two tiny outpost with almost no atmos system? I like the idea, but i don't see it working on Paradise. But if Sigurd runs it i may switch servers for few hours.
  12. I feel like i need to say something here, as i kinda started the Singuloth Knight thing. There's not just ONE Singuloth Knight, there's an entire chapter of them, and they were inspired by something like this: Not even close to a galactic surfer, eh? And once again, the gravitational singularity is NOT Lord Singuloth, it's just one of it's gifts to mankind.
  13. Actually, our genetic code has been a bit overhauled, and we got like 55 blocks and at least a dozen of new powers, this guide is partially outdated.
  14. The main point would be avoiding inmediate looting after DCing for a minute, but people would keep doing it, after all. >
  15. I'm never sarcastic when talking about engineering, it's a pain to see how the newbie engis fail to something as simple as filling the plasma tanks, or setting up the field, or JUST FUCKING TURNING ON AN EMITTER! yes, they fail to do that too. Moar engines would be awesome, but then again engineering needs to be balanced for some stupid reason. > : (
  16. Oh right, i was to lazy to make a threat about this, but i want Poly to be able to sit on my shoulder, so i can carry her around easily and she doesn't rust in the CE office. Poly is way more helpful and usefull than you could think, there are few secrets about her. *cough*universal recorder*cough*carp hunter*cough*spider's doom*cough* Imagine this: shitcurity wants to handcuff you? POLY GRAB! *poof* no handcuffs. BWAAAAK! Also, could you make that when Poly is carrying a flashlight she actually becomes a source of light?
  17. MOAR ENGINES! POWER OVERWHELMING! Power sink? pffft... more like an expensive lightbulb.
  18. As a main engineer player the idea of learning a new station layout horrifies me, i like the actual station, i know it's strong and weak points, it's atmos pipe layout, disposal pipe layout, power grid, maint layout... And i personally dislike how the AI core is located in those maps... it almost looks like... the AI is not the station but an ENEMY OF THE STATION! D : < IT'S AN AI IT MUST GO ROGUE! ALWAYS! But i need to admit it, the engineering and atmos in Utopia looks so damn sexy.
  19. Extended? no, extended last at most 2 hours, and assuming there are no crazy ion laws, crazy machines, or Spider Station 13. Extended always ends in catastrophe, either because events, or incompetent people.
  20. I'd love to have something like that, but we would have more SSD people than playing people, and the spider/crazy machine events would be a little more of an issue. We would need competent people working in engineering and medical, so a little burn wouldn't mean death and end of the round for you, or a despresurized hallway wouldn't force a shuttle call. A long shift would be lovely, i could mess with the comms setup or the atmos layout to make them "better". But as i said, we need people to actually do their job and not fuck up, good luck achieving that.
  21. About slime people: -They are NOT vulnerable to water, as their blood is water. -Their punches are stronger, they bludgeon. -Slime language - Bubblish (:f): Languages of slimes, a mixture of bubbling noises and pops. Almost impossible to speak without mechanical aid for non slime people. ( Squishy bubbles and pops, "Text"). -They don't need to breathe. -They blood is water, and people can slip on your blood. Is hilarious to see how the traitor who killed you slips on your blood and breaks a leg. -They don't have a brain, thus borers can't control them. They still can infest them, but they are a bit miserable there. And no, they can't have brain damage at all. -Actually, they don't have internal organs AT ALL, no heart, no lungs, no livers, no nothing! -They don't have bones, so they can't break. (they still leave a skeleton when they rot, but that's a bug ) Kidan: they do NOT have their own language. -((They can't wear hardsuits, but they can wear space suits (AKA softsuits).))<-- Scratch that. -They can eat diona nymphs, even alive ones. An alive diona can chestburst a kidan if they move in their belly. Diona: (AKA tree people, ents, or fukken OP tanks) -Their punches are a bit stronger and can cause bleeding, identical to tajara scratching. -They can't wear hardsuits, and they don't need them at all, as they are space proof, more or less.
  22. If we do this, this would be a KP locked job, i guess. And i can already see it, CROSS THE BEAMS! *BOOM* Besides that, the idea is truly impressive.
  23. Fine, ignore me when i say that it is possible to kill the blob alone, i don't care. But anyways, this: I like this idea, it gives some kind of ultimatum to the crew, either you fight or die in shame. This also has sense, less nodes and more cores. The objective to win could be x blob tiles and 3-5 cores, depending of the how much crew we have.
  24. All i see is a lot QQ instead of fighting, i already killed several blobs, two of them i killed them totally ALONE. But do you have the guts to go out there and fight for your lives!? Get your armor! a welder! a stunprod! an emitter! AND FUKKEN BEAT THE LIVING DAYLIGHT OUT OF THAT CRAP! Edit: WAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH! (how the hell can a blob be boring to you? i mean, really? is nearly the most destructive force in the game, and it always ends either in a heroic crew risking their lives for the station, the blob killing everyone, or a thermonuclear explosion. And that BORES you? )
  25. Oh god every assisstant breaking my beautiful plasma external windows. You want to say that the CE hardsuit is made of adamantine? My beloved armor absorbed a lot of emitter shots, totally protecting me for any damage. But it still needs to be fire-proof! Fix eeeeet.
