Security - Automatic Records

So /often/ one of the main issues while playing security on high populated shifts is the lack of communications which means that records does not get updated.

To counter this I propose that someone codes a minor mechanical means to solve this? How does it work...

When you activate the brig timer on any of the cells you input time. So. Add two prompts that pops up, when activating the timer asking.

Who are you brigging?

and for what charges/how long?

Then have the cell timer print a nice formal piece of paper with a preset layout but two output areas with the provided information that the warden can pick up and store in his office.

Now everyone who is in a cell when the timer is activates should have a file.. If the security officer did his job.

Yes/no?

Yeah some stuff to make it less...annoying work would be great. And so IT ACTUALLY GETS DONE SO I DON"T HAVE TO SCREAM AND ASK WHY SOMEONE IS BRIGGED FML.

So +1.

Maybe have a device you can _optionally_ use?

like "perpetrator scanner" HL2 style (but not automatic and in hand)

or a room where you take "mugshots", with items confiscated

Maybe we could do what Apollo does, and have a prisoner sentencing console, a console used to basically make a list of crimes a person has committed. The console automatically determines an appropriate sentence, and it makes a paper that can be inserted into the brig timer, automatically setting it.

The console could print out a second paper for the warden and automatically update records.

Of course, it should probably be noted that Apollo is a HRP server with longer rounds and persistence between rounds.
