Eventapalooza: Mutie Nations

Observing the Wish Granter round last night, I had this crazy idea:

 

Event begins with a huge unique asteroid crashing into Arrivals just south of the shuttle, just hanging out there, halfway in (not letting the atmosphere out)

 

Going within a few blocks/touching the asteroid grants you a semi-random set of mutations (random start, rotation from then on).

 

Possible mutations (no more than three sets in total):

-Hulk+Regeneration+Brain Damage (Brute Tribe)

-Laser Eyes+Cold/Fire/Energy/Vacuum Resistance (Red-Eye Tribe)

-Telekenisis+Chameleon+Speed (Shadow Tribe)

 

Upon receiving the mutation, you also gain the following objectives:

-Ensure the safety of Tribe X. (based on your mutations)

-Ensure the prosperity of Tribe X.

-Protect Tribal territory.

-Obey the Tribal Leader, if there is not one, choose a Tribal Leader.

 

Obviously the rest is self explanatory, each mutie tribe stakes out their claims and tries to keep afloat, inter-tribal relations are largely up to player interaction/discretion. The round ends either when: A) Only one tribe remains. B) The shuttle is called (and successfully departs), the winner being whoever has the largest presence on the shuttle. C) The tribes unite under one leader.

You know that the shadow tribe is a bunch of wimps?

The guys with the laser eyes would just dominate everything and according to your idea ending A and C will never happen.

 

If you want a team of super heroes learn genetics and dress up as the owl.

And hulks with brain damage can't do anything that doesn't involve beating people... so at least one tribe will turn the place into a war zone.
