I'm sorry, I'm still a bit confused, so we welder bomb it anywhere, anytime, right?

No, you first drag the welder fuel around for several minutes and start yelling to radio about the whereabouts of the blob and possible information that might help you to wander to this general location. Then you drag the fueltank to the bar and blow yourself up, whatever your current health status is after this unfortunate occurance, make sure that everyone in OOC knows what you did.

Smileys are a must have and the message becomes more clear to everyone if you use caps lock.

Every extra welder you have gathering dust in your pockets may save your life, never reveal that you have your toolbelt filled with them, otherwise someone will steal it from you. If someone tries to steal one of your valuable welders you should retaliate to it as if it was a murder attempt, weld the thieves face off and run.

Also it's common knowledge that BLOB CANT EVOLUATE WITHOUT OXIGEN!! so open every external airlock you find and make sure to get rid of every filthy air particle so it will not feed your blobby enemy.

    Good luck greyshirt.

I need to give some background info so the accident makes some sense.

My hobby, boffering or padded sword fighting is a sport where variable number of nerds gather to one spot, clothe eachothers in medieval armor that is uncomfortable and heavy as sin, pick up somewhat authentic looking (not at all) weaponry that's made of the same pipe that your houses plumbing and covered in anti-freezing foam and ducttape. Then these said nerds frolic in the field and smash their pals to the face until they block better.

Anyways, I was in a massive Finnish boffering event, sotahuuto, we had over 500 participants so shieldwalls, smell and noise were all equally intense. Being a weeny guy weighing about 60kg I'm naturally not in the front line, but a spear toting asshole that shouts mean things from behind the backs of burlier men and pokes you in face when you are not looking directly there. One time I made a mistake and overstepped my glorious lunge, pushing myself past the somewhat loosened shieldwall. To my misfortune, at that same moment the enemy decided they want to run over us and I didn't have time to escape back to the line, my arm got stuck between the milling shieldwalls of bloodfury.

At that moment I knew how it would feel like to be this pretty and and up in prison shower, I got into some shitty situation. I have no clear memory from the brawl of plate armored men and stompy boots but i met both of those with my tender bony bits in my limbs and chest before someone noticed I'm not enjoying my time in the hellmill and shouted the game to stop so i could be dragged away.

My ear nearly ripped off my head, my arm was slightly dislocated and I broke a rib. I noticed the rib at home when the battlelust weared off. Fought later that day and learned to use a helmet at all times. Relocating an elbow is disgusting, i do not recommend busting it.

Usually the hobby is somewhat safe but I'm a massive doo-doo head.

When the Psych actually tries to do his job and doesn't try to just straightjacket and fire me.

There was this one time where a xenoarchaeologist unearthed an actual alien artefact, and all it did was produce a 'you feel a blissful sensation' message.

Ten minutes later the Captain, HoS, Security and myself (Blueshield) were raiding research because the entire science department had turned into frothing addicts who wanted nothing more than to touch and stroke the artefact, and they were willing to raid the Bridge (nonlethally) to do it.

Then the server crashed. It was a great bit of naturally escalating roleplay though which left security panicking that there might be a cult on the station.

I was that Xenoarcheologist! It really was completely harmless, only giving that "feelgood" message to anyone who touched it, I didn't bother to activate it because I was still new to Xenoarch.

So I took it back to station and told everyone to touch it with my other Xenoarch. partner, we were already pretty high on it, then it caught on and the Captain showed up and OF COURSE Captain refused to listen to a mob of scientists, who have all surrounded a strange rock and are rubbing themselves against it while looking like they're high on ecstasy, telling him to touch that rock. Also I was honestly surprised that the assault on bridge didn't end up in anyone getting killed or their ID stolen. A real shame that the server crashed RIGHT as you were breaking the Robotics window.

I was the RD that round, I still miss the rock. Sadly the server crashed just as the sec (and ERT?) was about to break in.

I agree with these, I play Vox a lot too.

    1. Leap at it's current state can only either result in capturing whoever you want or getting your head bashed in when you herp and derp in the opening menu.

    2. Not sure how this affects players, I have ping of like 50 most of the time and I use the throw system to make hilarious shit happen, this could be used to outrobust a ninja-wizard-teenage-hulk-xeno-skrell.

    3. If this happens i'm going to consider my fabulous Vox legs as "private places" and let all hell loose for hilarity. Good idea, I can only imagine the pain of security that has to deal with Vox doing Vox stuff (stealing everything)

    4. I would like to get my claws back somehow if i happen to get cloned

    5. The leap is not so long that it really needs this, you can outrun the leap.
