Asthma could be done with suffocation damage over time, and the inhaler would have dexalin. Not sure about diabetes though, but with a little effort it could be done.

Also Psy, the ideas you wrote would make it the most unused race since it only leaves the regen in light as their only good thing to have, you burn like shit and die, not cool.

I wouldn't complain really, this is pretty great, but yeah, they need some balancing, maybe give them nobreathing power as a start because they are trees, and making them pressure resistant is quite fine according to the lore since they travel in space. But making them unkillable by fire is stupid as hell, because that should be their only poison. Extra melee damage? Why? They are trees, stupid. Everything else is fine in my opinion, they only need a bit of balancing and ready to be used for people who complain.

This could work but we need a way to not throw up from dead bodies first, because if you work in medbay, your hunger gets depleted in mere minutes mostly. Noone wants to starve because of some corpses, right? I think the child gas mask could block it, the sterile mask too.

There is a line between powergaming and roleplaying, sometimes people do it right, sometimes not, for example, the species' own lore, even I admit I don't do the sssss thing with Unathi, but that's because of the background that noone cares about. We know the antags and stuff like that, and when you get attacked by one, you will obviously powergame as much as you can, to survive, because I think every non admin can admit it, that if you get thrown out of a round for more than 30 minutes, it just isn't worth it to stay and you go to another server at least for that round. But after I manage to escape from an antag, I go and RP with people like haha he tried to kill me, like last time a ling almost absorbed me, I RP'd being like almost dead from the choking for a bit at least. So in short, you can find the balance, the vigilante assistants exist because people don't do their job and they can slip in the captain's office undetected, and mostly remain so for the entire round, unless they were really dumb. And yes, powergaming usually equals being good at the game, but hell, if someone is a veteran in SS13, I won't say, man, go and do your job, like people usually do. For instance, I ask for a multitool as a chemist and I'm labelled as someone who can't even modify machines, I mean thanks, really, that's friendly as hell, but what if I learned how to? Just because I have the title of chemist doesn't mean shit, just as much as a security guard in RL can know a lot of stuff from electric equipment and it's repair etc.

Mythril isn't really used either and plasma shards are hardly considered a weapon as far as I know, because of their little damage.

Telepathy is a genetics thing, they only have something like if grey give them telepathy without the genes.

On the telepathy part: NOPE! That's the only thing they have basically, and noone would use it then.

When I heard that this was implemented, I was really happy since I love the wish granter because of that, but for this to be useful, we really need some kind of light protection for them. They definetly need night vision of some kind too.

It only would work on the server it's uploaded to, you need to upload it to every server you want it to work on.

Also as far as I know it isn't RCD proof, the door at least, saw borgs open it a lot of times, but the AI thing you mentioned would be great, the AI should be able to contact CentCom, because they have a connection to the AI too, so it could work the other way.

I'm not much of a coder, but I think it might work, the only way to test it is go on the tcommsat and try to compile it.

No, just no, and yes, this is mostly because I'm karma banned, yes I admit it. We don't have whitelists for a reason, we don't need this, I agree that the heads are getting more incompetent, but it's winter break, there will be less people after it, yes the server is really populated now, I know. We just have to deal with it.

This sounds really cool, I'm not sure if anyone will put enough time and work in this to make it happen, but this should be made, I would enjoy it a lot.
