*sigh* All the people who don't know the game... There are four types of damage, oxygen, burn, toxin, brute. You can not make temperature damage you any other way than getting burn damage, so simple.

I would love to play this again, but it would need to be mapped as an away mission because of code reasons and telescience could wreck the round if it would be on the Derelict, the maffia could have uplinks and syndicate radios, so they could communicate too, not sure what else I can say to contribute, but those are needed.

I'm quite sure that ghosts being able to be slimes are broken, since I have observed for not just one round, and I never got to be, even though I did want to.

Sounds fun but is not comparable to the dissatisfied crewmember gamemode.
RP Rev sounds better to me, dissatisfied crew member would probably be wicked to code. While rp rev is similar but more simple.

In RP-Rev you have to talk with the people to make them join, and you can use convert on them anytime, but they can refuse to join, that's the basics of it, you can either kill, convert or capture the heads.

I said RP-Rev, that is another gamemode, and not regular rev. In RP-Rev you can convert the Heads of Staff.

I am the one who mostly responds, but since I am just a mentor, I have to ask for permission, and I can't really interfere with the round. I'd love to man CC all day all night though.

We certainly don't want to be Baystation, that level of RP is really absurd, but we need a way to encourage players to start their own RP, like some bartenders make gambling a thing, and everyone goes there to play. There are multiple levels of RP, and we were like at 0 when we were listed, that's my opinion again, some people did RP but the majority of them didn't.
On the good/bad RP part, certainly the names are bad, not trying to offend anyone, but just thinking about some names, Slade, Mr Mittens, the shitty videogame names the ERT usually has, and we could go down the list. Good RP could be introduced via making people cooperate and letting them make friendships really, not just having to survive the round always having a strong grip on your toolbox. At the end of the day you will be able to play, but sometimes dying is more respectable than living. Like catching a bullet for someone to live, someone you like, or even love, that would be pretty epic RP, but when will we see such? That is the question.

The only problem I have is, people do not RP, at all mostly. We can blame unlisting, we can blame that the site was down because of patches, we could blame it on everything, but the reason it gets boring, is because of people not contributing to it. I usually do my job like max the research, mine a lot of ores, reconfigure atmos, test bombs, then I just go and socialize in the bar, like yesterday I went to gamble because the bartender had set that up, you can guess, he got my karma for it too. It isn't the problem of the low population, and don't take it personally, but those who don't like low population usually are there to ruin other people's fun, and tend to grief a lot more than anyone else. For example, we have Sigurd, rarely even 10 players these days, but it's a great RP experience mostly. Other than what I wrote, the other thing is, we lack real events, not the annoying random events, those mostly should be just disabled. For example we have meaty ores, the engineer suits up if he didn't already, sighs a huge, then grabs the metal and goes EVA, fixes it, and his mood to play is below 0, because I know it from experience. We sometimes lack admins at all because of timezones, and stuff I won't talk about, but you might've seen, so that means we get even less events, and if we could have any, then the one who wants to make it, needs like 30 players at least for it. So yeah, those are my thoughts on this for now.

Last time I checked it was perfectly fine, and never got electrocuted, the boots are kinda problematic sometimes, but I am fine with magboots or sandals.

This thing is kinda bullshit, so I didn't want to comment, but since we are speaking about the words nigger etc., my opinion is, if it's IC, and directed at the character, then it shouldn't have OOC punishments. Just because someone choose a black skin, and I call them nigger, I shouldn't be warned, banned or anything. If it's an OOC insult, then the admins could use punishments on them. Muting, kicking, warning, and if it's really bad then banning. At least that is my opinion on this topic. And yes, there are many swearwords but if one isn't offended by it, we shouldn't make such a huge thing out of it.

You can cut the gloves to use it as a tajara or unathi, and magboots are universal.
