This feels like an idea from someone who has too much karma and wants something to spend it on because I see no reason why karma would be needed for a name of a job. I think this is a horrible idea.

yeah because their super healing, no breathing, not worrying about pressure and being able to come back to life as a nymph are so weak, oh and claws as well. I've literally seen a diona fight of hordes of blob zombies alone with nothing but its hands. so personally I feel that having speedy Diona may be a little crazy. (edit apparently coming back as nymphs are gone. )

Really? how does it work? we need to know what it does and doesn't do before we can say yes or no, no point in suggesting a name of an ability with no details.

I feel like there are a few to many suggestions in this suggestion. things are going to get messy if discussions start up about it.

This seems like a smart and easy way to give them some sort of strength against viruses without making viruses pointless.

Currently Skrell have no special traits except for their own language and having to modify their hardsuits. so I suggest we give them a fun trait that will let them stand on their own, personally I think something to fight off viruses would be nice since I feel viruses seem to spread through the station before you can say containment. Any other ideas for what traits we can give them?

The only possible way I can think to have portable hardsuits is to have a hardsuit that compacts into a backpack and takes up the bag slot, maybe even have it auto expand if it detects low pressure. of course I think this should be something R&D can make otherwise it would be silly.

I would much rather to start suffocating that for my internals to turn off while in a room full of toxins and suddenly have a lung full of death.

I would say keeping it the way it is because I honestly have no problem with the way it is right now, like at all. I honestly can't see a problem with races talking their language and other races can't speak it because the way they talk is so different to how the other races speak.

have you played dead space? he can barely jog in that thing, so I really doubt he can do ballet in it, not that I would be apposed to that.

if everyone knew how to speak it, then why would anyone use it? its like having 2 commons, why would anyone use common 2 when common 1 is there?

maybe since humans have trouble speaking it perhaps you could have some letters mixed up like albed from ffx if anyones played that, making it hard to understand but you can understand it and no karma should not be a magic wand that just makes things happen.

This seems like better way of doing it without making it really easy that defend yourself before the attacker gets a chance to attack.

I remember that! I was in atmos, it was absolutely terrifying! especally when people started tapping on the glass asking for help... honk. Suggestion, Randomly for a round in this gamemode the zombies are honkzombies instead of just normal ones.

well the merged diona should pop out of the dead one, that seems like a mistake if they don't already do that. as for the control switching, I like the idea and it works with their lore but I don't see how you could pull it off without annoying everyone who is merged. 2 or more people fighting over 1 body sounds like the perfect mixture for rage.

honestly I think a zombie mode would be kinda cool if done right, you can even have people control their zombie self. I think a virus would be a good idea but zombies are only dangerous in large numbers and wiping out half the crew at the start isn't fun. so perhaps maybe a shuttle full of corpses could crash into the station and all hell breaks loose. maybe the shuttle could crash into a random location on the station making it more difficult to counter and with some random people with the virus turning into a zombies around the station. that sounds pretty good to me.

I like this idea, makes things far more interesting there is nothing worse than a boring round where nothing happens and having shit go down right at the end sounds great.
