  1. I've attempted this before. Oddly enough it was because I didn't set the ID properly and the [N] wasn't next to my name. And that I didn't have a mindshield. So this time around I came prepared, once the planets aligned and I smelled the opportunity.
  2. But. With that said. I REALLY covered my ass when it came to my poor gear. E.g, Taser - Trench Coat, Helmet, No Radio. All due to budget cuts I made up.
  3. Yeah. It looked a little different due to the Security Helmet. You might have noticed that Han Sol was facing either north or south 90% of the time. Trying to hide the fact it was a gas mask.
  4. Hello all, 1. Started the round as a civilian. 2. Go to HoP line and transfer into an understaffed Security. 3. Get Mindshielded. 4. Spawn an Agent Stamp, Mask, and Uniform. 5. Proceed to the IAA. Ask them how the Fax worked - asked if I could try logging in and checking its mechanics. They trusted me, a Mind Shielded Officer. 6. Copy their ID. 7. Forge paperwork, faking the identity of Major Han Sol - the CC Officer. Requesting my target's cremation. 8. Target gets cremated. I go on patrol. 9. It's blue alert by now, due to confirmed Syndicate Activity. I abuse this change in colour, and randomly search the CMO [peacefully]. 10. Ask to see his ID. Check his bags. Copy his ID, gain bridge access. 11. With Bridge Access I go to IAA to fake another Fax. This time announcing Major Han Sol's arrival to the Cyberiad. Saying I'll be their main point of contact with Central Command. So anything that was meant to go to CC was redirected to my Office [NT Rep]. 12. Discarded old attire, binned and destroyed it. Equip the ID, Gas Mask, Security Helmet, Taser, Detective's Cloak and rock up to the Bridge without a Radio or proper equipment and complain this is due to the 'Budget Cuts' enforced by Central Command after the Station accidentally releases the Tesla [to be fixed by Admins at a 10,000,000 debt to the Station]. 13. I go through all of Command's SoP. Ask to check the HoP's ID, and copy it in the process of checking if he had all-access. 14. He didn't. So I cycle through command, and the Captain recommends I take on an IAA to follow me around. I do, and decide to give the IAA a fake promotion, to 'Naval Officer Recruit'. 15. While handing the new Naval Officer Recruit all-access, I copied their ID. 16. Issued orders continuously throughout the round. No one suspected a thing. 17. Escape successfully, and without my cover being blown. 18. Got no karma that round due to people thinking I was an admin character.
  5. Give the Magistrate a locker that supplies them w/ another radio. Because, if you get your radio EMP'd or it gets destroyed - it is the ONLY radio in-game that does not have a back-up pair. I've done the following things when my radio gets destroyed / or empd (just learnt that you can fix emp headsets haha) But still, when mine gets destroyed I had to ask the Captain or Blueshield for a spare headset - and then unscrew a Security headset and get their access comms.
  6. I have used the Chameleon Stamp w/ a fax - and Agent Card (Captain's ID cloned). To fake a execution order on my target, and they were executed shortly after. I even went as far as to tell them, 'This is absolute. There is no negotation' so they didn't reply to Central's fake FAX and get corrected by a logistic's officer. I used that agent card, voice changers, and stamp to fake Central Command Orders and disguised myself as the Logistics Officer that sent the FAX. Walked into the bridge w/ full access (due to previously cloning the captain's ID) and used my own person as a reply to all their grievances about the bullshit FAX. I prefer the paperwork-fake approach as a Traitor. I find it a lot more fun, and it has worked 100% of the time thus far. Sadly, I boarded the Nanotransen shuttle back to Central Command's base of operations, and attempted to sneak in and kill the Nanotransen Representatives that were there on an audit. - but, Major Burk checked who I was, and detained me to be questions by Bob the Butcher. It was the most RP and fun I've had thus far, admins played along with my under-cover act as they were the Nanotransen Inspectors, but wouldn't IC know about a Logistics Officer, it was only when I went back and got examined by the higher-higher-higher ups, was when I got found out. Eitherway, Chameleon Pen... please.
  7. Hello All, This is a stealth-paperwork- traitor suggestion. We already have a Chameleon Stamp; why not add in its rightful sibling... I present to you the Chameleon Pen! Noobly-worded, and such... It will open up a lot of stealth-options. Combo'd with a agent ID; stamp, jumpsuit... it'll make for some interesting rounds.
  8. My gripe is that the Chief Engineer; Chief Medical Officer; Head of Security; Head of Personnel, and Captain all have their own personal stamp that creates their own personal logo at the bottom of a piece of paperwork. The Magistrate DOES have a stamp to use, ergo the Justice Department Stamp - but, it's also used by IAA and Lawyers. And produces the, 'Department of Justice' logo at the bottom, rather than 'Magistrate' or, 'Head of Department of Justice'. It's a small gripe, and I can understand if its a waste of resources and manpower to approve and add into the game... BUT - it would be a neat quality of play, addition. sidenote: Coroner should get a stamp, yeah. Anything that requires the occasional bureaucracy should get a stamp. (Although, I feel like signatures cover a lot of the bases since there is no Chameleon Pen, that copies signatures)
  9. Hello all, Suggestion: Provide the Magistrate with his own Stamp. Reason: A good Magistrate is someone that dabbles in the realm of Bureaucracy a lot. All of their forms either require their signature, a stamp, or both. The Magistrate performs paperwork on the level of a Captain - the Captain has their own stamp. A stamp is the second line of defense, and authentication to fake paperwork. The stamp holds the same authority as an IAA; whereas the Magistrate's signature holds authority over enforcing Space Law. There are three stamps in-game that are used in the Magistrate's paperwork, two in IAA and one in the Magistrate's office. Optionally there could just be a change to the IAA's stamp, and the Magistrate keeps the law stamp. I am not fussed, and it's not that big of a deal, but, it's a quality of life thing I'd really appreciate - and i'm sure other Magistrate would as well. Here is a joke screenshot: [Joke Screenshot]
  10. To make things more simple; albeit by making a SoP more wordy - you could break up what sort of chemicals they are allowed. This'll prevent Psychologists from being detained and arrested by persons who think them having Meth and such = illegal. Or, Botanists for X chemical. As it stands, the drug-permit or w/e people want to call it is far too vague. And I think if the drug-related laws and SoP had an in-depth list like Contraband it would make things a lot more smooth.
  11. Hello, all I want to suggest a karma job - Central Command Logistics Officer. Cost: 100 Karma Points Task: Responds to all FAXs' and questions by Command. Squishing Doubts: I understand a lot of players are worried that this could be abused, and, they are not wrong. But, if it gets abused - they would be gibbed and one hundred karma be voided from them. Admins could perform additional punishments such as voiding all karma-rewards and future use of the karma shop to deter abuse of the role. I don't want peoples' fears of abuse, or doubts, to bar a potentially great addition to the game. It would open up for more concise, and quick communication. More realistic communication, and it will also take the trouble of communicating soul-less replies back to the Faxers. I have played 57 rounds of Magistrate thus far; and the role offers similar power to what a Logistics Officer can perform - but Magistrate have it in the sole field of Space Law and such. Sure, some Magistrate abuse or get stripped - but it is extremely rare. Most pick up the karma-job because they aim to be committed to the job. I am sure Logistics Officer will be the same, especially with the extra punishments making sure people are prepared for such a role.
