I don't see how people can fuck up as malf AI

    Plasma fire = win

    N2O = win

    Atmospherics = win

Just blow up chem dispencers and telescience and you are golden

  2.

Uh, unless I'm missing something N2 just cools the air, you might mean No2.

Air is 80% nitrogen 20% oxygen

Break that balance and the air becomes unbreathable (or so it is supposed to work)

  3.

this is an admin complaint, not an appeal, perhaps you got the mixed up?

I would advise you to either reformat your appeal or clear up why you are making a complaint

  4.

Adding something new to unbalance a balanced race that only a few play, which would require code that is not easy to just copy paste from somewhere else, as well as making sprites for both the mob and the tail?

    Short answer: No

Long answer: No, if you want it you can code it yourself and we can review it, but this goes to the bottom of our priority list simply because there are so much else that needs attention

    Er.

I was just fooling around anyways, and it didn't really have any effect other than you getting scared away (from my perspective you still didn't take any damage from the gut verb)

Many people, myself included have been banned before for attacking people when we should not. We have all used the "fooling around" point and we all still got banned. You should not be an exception to this. As well as this, I did go into a critical state, I had to be put into a cryotube. You attacked me, I gained brute damage and went into critical.

As well as this, a loyalty implanted individual must always seek the best for NT, So therefore they must uphold space law.

You put me in a critical condition, which was over the top, and puts many people to bans, you should not be let go.

As well as this, please do not ban me for making a complaint, as you openly threatened, as I can only write a half story from my perspective. It is no wonder no one complained about your meteor round, they are sacred you will ban them, as you just openly threatened me.

Jup, because twisting what happened to make someone look worse surely wont piss them off.

As in "fooling around" I wanted to see the effects on armor as well, you were openly throwing a fit against the other voxes, I guess you didn't know what the Armalis was or something, but I was planning to rejuv you right after, but AGAIN from my perspective it didn't look like you took any damage, So please just stop with the "you put me in crit" bullshit.

As for the lojality implant, I already explained this to you, I won't waste my time doing it again.

    EDIT:

I guess people want it open

  6.

    Er.

I'd rather just ban you, for including half a story to put me in a worse spot, but whatever.

The meteor round was after a long 80 player round of where I was the only admin, Adr came on later I believe.

We decided to do meteors for lulz, as well as spam the "Meteor strike" button on the "random events" panel.

As the round seems to come to an end, I get inn there with even more meteors planned, introducing the meteor gun.

The round lasted about 10-15 minutes, and I got more "Holy shit that was awesome" and "Oh god what is that gun and where can I get it" than I got "oh my god you just wasted all my time and totally ruined the whole experience for me"

And when it comes to the grounds of the complaint, what happened was that I wanted to test the Armalis ( I was bugfixing in the background) and I wanted to see if anyone on the crewlist actually knew what it was, mostly I got "oh god what is that" but Pancake actually knew the vox lore (props to him)

At that point you started to just generally stirr stuff up, so I lunged and tried out the gut, keep in mind that you were in full clown hardsuit and I checked your variables shortly after so see if you were damaged (thus my question "Are you machine people / Where did the burn damage come from") and I was about to rejuvernate you for any damage it caused, but seeing as you had 0 brute I though that maybe your armor stopped everything, and gut needed revision or something.

Then you started to stirr shit up with RP and how Pancake was failing with the implant n stuff.

I responded that this is a special occurrence, its Armalis is basically a big deal with vox, and I couldn't be arsed with all your "BUT HE HAS AN IMPLANT" when I was just fooling around anyways, and it didn't really have any effect other than you getting scared away (from my perspective you still didn't take any damage from the gut verb)

there's actually a blood test to do with a welder think, not that it ever gets that far

Urban legend. The only way to confirm someone is a changeling is catch them transforming, absorbing, stinging, or recover a victim and perform an autopsy/check for blood.

Not an urban legend, it's from goon and it still is like that, welder on blood and it will say something like "the blood fizzles and writes in pain as it tries to squirm out of the beaker"

  8.

I have no idea where the resources are stored on your computer, so I can't upload them here for you, nor is there a folder for it on the server.

    Sorreh :/

  9.

THIS GUIDE IS PARTIALLY OUTDATED, WE ARE NOW ON:

    Server IP: SynIRC.net

    Channel: #Paradise

Welcome to the waterhole of knowledge where you learn how to (probably) use an IRC

IF YOU KNOW HOW TO WORK A BASIC IIRC CLIENT I SUGGEST SKIPPING THIS PART, AS IT IS MEANT FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH IRC CLIENTS.

    IRC information:

    Server IP: SynIRC.net

    Channel: #Paradise

First off, we're going to need to get a client, personally I've tried several, and found Hexchat to be my favorite.

    You can download it here:

    http://hexchat.github.io/

    Other noteworthy IRC clients:

    http://xchat.org/

    http://www.irssi.org/

    http://www.mirc.com/

    http://limechat.net/mac/ (For mac)

Alright so you got your IRC client installed and ready to go, now its time to connect to the server.

------- THIS PART IS FOR XCHAT AND HEXCHAT ONLY, IRSSI AND OTHER SIMILAR CLIENTS SUCH AS LIMECHAT WILL BE EXPLAINED LATER -------

If you are using Hexchat, you will probably be presented with this

    8E5fN.png

Here you need to fill in the appropriate information that you want people to see when you connect (This can be changed at a later time as well)

After you have filled out the information, you want to press the "Add" button, by networks list

This will create a new network, which you can name whatever, smartest thing would be to name it "Paradise" or "Cyberiad"

    8E5i9.png

Now you want to highlight it, and press the "Edit" button

This will present you with a new, quite simular window, it should look something like this

    8E5kZ.png

Now lets edit the "newserver" column, to match the server IP of our IRC

    8zn08.png

    176.58.122.101

Remember that the /6667 at the end of the IP is important to have there, as it defines what port to connect to (6667 being default and the correct one)

Other fields such as Nickserv password and Favorite channels can be edited at a later date, and will be explained later in the thread.

Now you can close that window up and press connect, this will present you with something similar to this

    8E5sC.png

Congratulations! You have now successfully connected to the IRC server!

Now we get to the command line, which is also used to communicate with other users, it is the input field on the bottom of the client, after your Nickname.

First thing you want to do is register your nickname, this is not required, but it is smart to do as it reserves your nickname, so that others may not impersonate you.

To do this type in the command line:

/msg Nickserv register *password* *password recovery phrase*

Always remember your password, as it can be rather hard to recover if you forget it and the recovery phrase.

Now that the registration is done, we can finally get to the part where we can talk to people.

Type in the command line "/join #crew" and you will join the crew channel (magic, right?)

Here you can talk to others and have a great time, if you need help with syntax or commands you can type /help or message Nickserv the command "help"

-------- FOR OTHER IRC CLIENTS --------

This should be really easy, if you use something like Limechat or IRSSI you can just type in the command line:

    /connect 176.58.122.101

    then /join #crew

Shingeki and SAO? Really guys? Really? Those are your choices? *facepalm*

Texhnolyze, Black Lagoon, Steins;Gate, Baccano!, Abenobashi, Time of Eve, Haibane Renmei, Pale Cocoon

Those are some of my favorites in different categories

    Shingeki is really good IMO

SAO S1 was really good, S2 is what ruined it.

Clannad + after story, melancholy of haruhi suzumiya + disappearance, Index, Angel Beats and Kyoukai no Kanata

Those are a few from the top of my mind that I really liked

  11.

Maybe as another way for ghosts to re-spawn? Could even have them become the ERT team once they get called.

Wait.. Thats exactly what the ERT is? Dead players who respawn as ERT when they get called..

Anyways, right now Centcom is just an abandoned place that holds OP weaponry and unused and unoptimized stuff.

If we want players to interact with it we need to redo the whole place, and come up with a lot of reasons as to why they are working there, such as a job or triggered event.

As for now I have no idea what these could be

  12.

i think most of the crashes are due to the servers auto-restart software, but i could be wrong.

Still, I'd like to invest in direct hardware upgrades because at least that's something concrete and would allow us to be ensured that any of the lag is not the host's fault but BYOND's fault.

Its a dedicated server, its not the servers fault because we've had 103 people online without lag.

What causes the lag is special events that hug resources, or bad coding that is poorly optimized

  13.

This was from back when the server was kind of low populated and lacked people to drive and mine with the mecs,

I am still for the camera on mechs, but AI piloting is a no for now

Why? Because the AI has better, more important things to do than piloting the ripley, and if they give the AI a combat mech it will be a walking shield, nothing more because of the AI laws
