well you really lost me man, I have no idea to say to that... -
As the title says.
Why don't we have Personal energy shield?
WE have laser, can make a Singularity Engine for power, Have stealth cloak, Teleporters and a hand held one too.
so why don't we have a rechargeable Personal energy shield that we can wear as a belt?
If we do add it in then here the pros and cons i will like to see.
Pros.
Blocks all range attacks.
Comes in Three versions, Poor man shield, Sec shield a lot better then the poor man shield and command level shield is the best.
Poor man shield can only block two range hits but can run off any battery, Sec shield need at least tier 2 and command level need the tier 3 and up.
Cons.
It take time for the shield to reach full strength, meaning when it's low it can block like one shot.
Cant block melee attacks.
Need a shit ton of power to get to full strength but once at full strength, it don't need as much power to keep it at full strength like 1/4 of the power need to keep it there.
EMP do a lot of damage to the shield strength like 5x damage to it meaning it can nearly out right kill the shields to 0
Have to be made at R&D after they unlock it BUT Poor man shield can be made any time but still need some stuff from R&D.
If you can think of a Con Do suggest it!

Wish granted, but now they use them to stop crew from running away and may kill one or two here and there by doing so, and the admins are not happy so they ban the sec, now we have a sec free server.

How about we move the flare gun from the miner's shop to the autolathe so then we can make the flare gun and any mods for it, and the ammo can be made there too in a box of 10?

Well to this i say I can keep alive and see my attack face for atleast 2 mins then I will know his fast after death, but if he kills me before the 2 mins then i will rp and forget his face and name.

As i see it we make our own level of RP it dose not matter if one want to do roleplaying in high detail or some greytile that getting banned, I my self have day where i play very highly and take all the time in the world to get each paper work in very highly detail stacks in folder that been label while other days i just mass printed them out and have a mess of paperwork laying round.
all i'm saying and trying to get the point out we make our own code, our own rules, our own followings, You make what you want, you make out of your self that you want to be and you can not force that on others.

The barrels are just fine, the hand grip can be better but it will do, and the flares are just fine
this is give us a new weapon to fight the shadowlings! we can shoot them with fire!

The Greytide cheap, not well made gun!
as the name say it's a pipe gun!
stuff to build it.
A pipe.
Wood.
Duck tape.
Cable/wire.
screwdriver. (you will lose it)
metal.
Tools needed.
wrench.
wire cutters.
welder.
screwdriver.
and some type of sharp thing like broken glass or a knife.
Pros.
super cheap to make.
can be made to fire any Ballistic rounds No Energy unless it's turns Ballistic into Energy aka the Laser Slug for the shotgun.
Cons.
one round can be loaded at a time and must be loaded in by hand.
Must pull out each used round of ammo.
a very low % of not firing, and wasting the round of ammo.
must use Both hands to hold it to fire it.
Only can wear it on your back, cant fit in your backpack.
must be torn apart to change the type of ammo it fires and may lose a part.
Note to coders We can reuse the Makeshift shotgun sprite as the look for the pipe gun too.

Ya cuz right now you cant not make the makeshift shotgun without someone in command knowing about it, hell, by the end of the round the nerds in R&D have all the best weapon ready and loaded and just waiting for the end game credit to do some mass killing..... The solo reason i want to the the makeshift shotgun more easy to get is for self defends or incase of xenos easy long range weapon to make, and making a receiver for a shotgun is easy you know, there even no trigger receiver where you can just cover a end of a pipe with a cap and have a nail at the it that been flatten at the tip and there you go you had made a gun that can fire shogun shells all you need to ram the shell into the flatten tip of the nail.

well then lets break apart the flare gun and get a shotgun receiver from it, then they have to hunt down for the other parts.
