The issue with this is there are a lot of context specific actions where you don't want people to know what you're doing. Currently, if I'm doing something and someone runs in, they have no clue what I'm doing until I finish that current action. (Say welding, or wrenching a wall).
This change would make people immediately aware you're performing an action. The only thing I could honestly see this would be good for is the timer on applying splints or using a welder/cable coil on yourself.
Not all actions are going to show (Uncuffing/Cuffing,Unbuckling... etc..) ,
And if you wear a mask (with no ID) no actions are goin to show!

Yesterday, I got lucky and got two rainbow slimes in a row.

We could just make some stuff give you a small spinning hourglass icon tied to the proc that creates the bars.
Of course, not all actions need to make that appear - escaping out of handcuffs, pickpocketing and others could not show the icon.
Yeah, it's goin to be a great "neat" feature. (if added)

At least make it so, only people with the correct "ID" or with a crowbar, can open firelocks...
it's really useful to be able to open firelocks when in need to get out from a dangerous situation.. or close em to fix stuff...

I`d love Events to get Buffed, most of the times you can let an event pass without worrying about it...

Yeah, I think the Plasmaman is the worst race at the moment, they cost 100KP , that`s a good amount of karma...
And you just get a very weak and badly made cool looking race...

I'm firmly in support of making the wiki a professionally toned resource and cutting choppy humour out of it.
No fun allowed? If someone is too dense to get the joke after the first first obvious puns they probably shouldn't be playing in the first place.
It's a game, "professional" shouldn't be coming anywhere near it IMO.
I pretty much agree with Shadey there, but reading the DF wiki makes me think we could include humour and joke pages easily just with their own little header to make it clear to new players.The goon wiki does it well, cheeto-stained archives and all makes it fairly clear to take everything tongue in cheek.
A little banner in the corner WITH BIG RED LETTERS making obvious wouldn't be amiss though I suppose.
The problem about the wiki is, Too Much Stupid Jokes, there should be less stupid jokes... it should be a bit more clean n` professional, the wiki is there to explain stuff to players not to make them laugh.

4 Legs
Fit 4 legs in a sprite and make it so that 2 legs = 1 leg, so if someone removes 1 leg from you, you loose 2 legs ,really simple?

Didn't play robotics and R&D for a long time but if I remember correctly Robotics can produce flashes, and to light a flamethrower you have to pick it up and press on it while it`s in your hands and then a window is going to appear and you activate it from that window.

If you`d like to RP/Fight a bit better, here a Pro-tip.
Pro-tip: !"Action you want your character to perform" = (Name) (Whatever you wrote)
Use it with Macros and you get a neat way to perform custom actions in a fast way.
(Ex. SINA- looks around curiously.|SINA- looks angry.| SINA- missed narrowly "Name" with his fist! )
A Macro for "Rest" is really useful and always remember to use the AWSD mode. (Soap n` Banana Peels are your best friends)
