For reasons I've stated ad nauseam I don't think it should exist.

Oh my lord, I remember this round. I bought a traitor bundle and was just screwing around. I kept using pickpocket gloves to silently strip everyone near me in the bar.
It was hilarious.
(Also I love your rendition of Elliot Campbell. It makes him look a lot less of an unstable drug-fueled nutjob than he really is.)

Which isn't an issue if you ask me, the problem is that if the person is passed your tile range for the taser you can't do anything to try and stun them.
But they cannot make an approach on you or the VIP without getting stunned at which point the person ceases to be your problem. I don't know how many times I have to say this, but evidently it's at least once more:
You are not security.
Chasing the criminal down is not your job.
Report the person to security and get on with your life.

Mythbusters time:
Both riot shields and energy shields have a less than 100% chance to block bullets.
Both of them have the same chance to block bullets.
It does not matter which direction you are facing when attempting to block said bullets.
The only thing different about the energy shield is the 100% chance to deflect energy and laser projectiles. This is, consequently, insanely useful.

I've seen ERT Commanders and Members try demote a Captain or boss around the heads of staff, even though they are outside the Chain of Command, it's pretty humurous.
ERT have full command over the station after they dock. Period. Really only the team commander should be issuing demotions, but if an ERT officer tells you to do something, you could be the clown or the Captain, the order is valid.

It's a small group of people doing nothing more than attempting to stir shit up. The minute we cede to their demands they'll turn around and start attacking us for bringing more 'furry' stuff onto the server. Likewise, the minute we refuse their demands they'll try to call us out on being unreasonable and in-league with everyone shit talking furries.
They want drama and nothing more. They're trolls.

CQC with a deathsquad commando
after a shitfest of a round that included:

a boxing match with boris lemons, i brought three pills of ephedrine for both of us to make the fights last longer.
a vigilante murder investigation with josiah where the victim and killer are both syndies, i got a free syndie gun out of it and used josiah's security authority to get a syringe gun for my ''syringe talisman'' syringes.
a vox that had mysterious injuries and medbay was really struggling so i dragged him to my chemlab in research...then suddenly XENO QUEEN.
the vox was still alive when a golem killed the queen and we fixed his wounds and infections.
we use the atmos vox access (the voxes name is vikk) and use the engineering pod to escape the station
a deathsquad dude tries to break in and i hack my way into the cockpit and everyone else dies, i take a potshot with my syringe gun and hit, then i engage the deathsquad dude in close quarters combat...he only got one hit on me and if the round laster a bit longer the syringe wouldve kicked in and i wouldve gotten a chokehold on him.
Not true. DS armor has thickmaterial. Nice try.

I'm of the position that all whiners should be sent to the pits to die a slow and painful death, but that said.
Wouldn't making wizard a late-round thing in other rounds just add to the whining factor?
