SpoilerChildhood: Tori was born into a middle-low class house hold during her early years of life into high school, Tori lived in a back water part of Kentari V. living in a Factory Colony with less than average living conditions. Air and water was recycled and re-used for cheap leading to high rates of Disease.
Adulthood: Leading into adulthood, Tori was approved to work on a Medical Space Station named the NSS Grendel after graduating from her university with a Medical degree. after about a decade she earned enough money to assist her family in moving onto the NSS Grendel, with the approval of the commander of the station.

Tori is a 5'6"(1.68m) Caucasian Female with blond hair and light blue eyes.
after the incident*, Tori has black tattoo's that run from her neck to her wrists and ankles. aswell as her hair turning black from the roots and is slowly spreading down her hair.Tori often wears a Blue scarf that she has recovered from her former families living quarters, as well as Prescribed glasses she was able to retrieve from a off station hospital.
She often dresses in a black skirt with Custom Jackboots and a BeretPersonality:
Tori is a straight forward person with a tone of formality in her voice. she carries her self tall and attempts to keep a formal stance. however in the right situations she has been noted to be a little clingy and open with people she's gotten to know.
Medical Record:
While working on the NSS Grendel, Tori had only one notable flaw. Tori was born with a case of myopia(Nearsightedness)
after the Incident, Tori was put on medical and mental watch due to a outburst when the Emergency Response Team arrived were in she ripped off the hand of one of the officers deployed to secure the area. Being armed with tranquilizers, Tori was put to sleep after the aforementioned outburst.
although being listed being 35 years of age, her body appears to have gone back a decade intime and performs to the standards of a 25 year old's body would. as well as black tattoo's that run from her neck (approximately where her spine terminates) to her wrists and ankles. all tattoo's present on her body appear to emanate a faint darkness, Tori has declined surgery to attempt to see what could be the cause. her hair appears to be turning a dark shade of Black from the roots, in recent time this appears to have slowed down. however this process seems to accelerate greatly and cover up to 30-40% of her hair at a time before retreating back up her hair after a period of two to three hours.
infrequent therapist visits have concluded that Tori is mentally sound. however during these two to three hour periods of time when her hair becomes darker, she has been reported to be almost completely silent. few things have spurred her to speak during these bouts of silence and it is unknown if these are voluntary or caused by the same thing causing the black tattoos and darker hair

spending most of her life on Kentari V in a factory district, she's been in the factories for as early as she can remember doing odd jobs to help her family earn some more money to afford living there and attempting to afford university.
Working on the NSS Grendel, Tori is well versed with many medical practices and has dipped her toes into Robotics Maintenance. as well as being well versed in Tradeband as it was one of the major spoken languages on the NSS Grendel before the Incident.

Thank you for looking into it, Admittedly I should have made an Mhelp or said something during the round in Msay.
That being said, I did really enjoy the event up till the Midround and it only really made sense that it would be the Syndies that sent it. Though RP wise i would have likely enjoyed more either no ERT response with the idea that the Jamming field was jamming everything to the point of the inability to communicate outside of the station. Maybe with some jumbled message back from CC saying they don't understand and aren't sending anything. Or they send a full team with the idea that its a valuable station that they want to keep safe from what ever may be jamming the signal.At the time it felt like the admin had sent in a reduced team for intentional reason of sending in a Death Squad later on. It ended up being the reason I've since started looking at admin interactions more cynically given it forced me to take off my Rose Tinted Glasses. from what I've heard around the community after posting the initial complaint, it seems to be somewhat of a trend at the time. Admins hosting events that don't quite fit the whole player base and more a few people lucky enough to roll good in Dchat.
I haven't seen anything of the sort as of late outside of some iffy Midround Antags that spawn after there's already been one. Which I'm still unsure if its a Admin Spawned thing, or if its a natural thing that the server can do, spawning a second midround such as another Biohazard, Shadow Demon, Etc. Other than that I haven't seen much, this could be due to me not being on quite as much, Or the admins genuinely getting better with how they host these types of events.
Over all I may have been blinded by a rage when I first saw the round, Partially due to recent news of friends quitting because of events like this, and partially because it hurt like hell to take off the rose tinted glasses. Its good to hear that the admin in question does intend to improve with their future events, and from the sounds of it, they meant no harm in the event that I've detailed above, Just following procedure.
As per the time frame of response, I'm ok with the response time as people have lives outside of the game. As well as the general vague nature of the identification of the round likely not helping either. Here's hoping that the Staff Meeting coming up solves some of these issues to a further degree

I've enjoyed what I've seen of Wide screen so far. its got a few issues that I've seen, Donation button being pushed off screen in my case, and the old graphics for the old ratio being a little scuffed for the new wide screen set up. But otherwise it seems fine, I'm sure that the Pictures like the Paradise Lobby screen and the Nuke going off will be fixed in time.
Finding it hard to disagree with some of the balance concerns, There could be cause for concern.
though Ranged weapons have Bullet travel time, making it harder to aim at those extra two tiles of Vision range.
And it might be a little harder to run away from people to the East or West depending on the Screen the chaser has.
We'll see, that's what the test merge is for anyway, If we find there's a uptick in Nukie wins because the Nukies happen to have Widescreen or whatever, we can figure it out now rather than later -

Admin punishes whole station for not very garbled ERT request (It had Leetspeak in it) by sending only three ERT members to help deal with a station consuming infestation of Terror Spiders
Full description of events:
During the round, one or more of the admins where messing with the station, having some playful banter between the syndicate and the station it's self.
the syndicate ends up setting up a jamming field around the station, an admin thing that was purely RP and couldn't be dealt with in game. the mid round comes about and it ends up being terrors, which the syndicate takes credit for.when the captain calls for help as they should in the situation they where in, the ERT request goes out garbled (a few extra odd characters in the sentence but still easily readable). The station gets a CC message saying that the ERT request is to garbled to mean anything and yells at the captain for using Leetspeak. a few minutes later CC reports back that they've deciphered the message and are sending a reduced ERT force as punishment for the ERT request.
The ERT request it's self was super straight forward, going something along the lines of "Syndicate Sent Terror Spiders, Send Help".
a straight forward message that you couldn't mistake for anything else with the amount of extra characters used to garble the messagewhen the inevitable happens and the three man ERT squad dies on the second encounter with the terror spiders, the admins resort to sending in Death Squad a few minutes after the ERT team dies
In this situation, Command tries to do everything correctly, they even faxed a message to CC after they sent the first virus to the syndicate reporting what we'd done.
We called for help, and got punished for things out of the stations controlI personally complained about it on the discord here

Off memory, the last time that this happened, Sec was manned with four total people, and all the active antags joined together and made it hell for the station. when an ERT was called for it was lacking in what the station needed
Both times the admins shrugged off the complaints

Power is too low to keep me functional, it seems that NT technicians wont be here anytime soon. Chicako made it out fine it seems, he should be in a NT booked Hotel down on boron, at least they have that handled for me. Data storage appears to be fine even after the EMP, was able to send Chicako down planet side with some copies and some authorization codes for some trusted people. I was able to pinpoint the source of the EMP to around a seemingly baron asteroid near by. Won't be able to do anything till systems are fixed however.
Sending myself into hibernation mode, hopefully the station will be able to power the doors at least when the techs get here..

So for the most part, fears of things cant really be represented in the game well. I think Hemophobia might be an intresting change for that though.
Hemophobia being the fear of blood is an intresting thing where the person afflicted with it has a fear of blood to some degree and will feel nauseous and/or feel faint at just the sight of blood.
This could be represented in game as the person taking stamina damage at the sight of a person covered in blood, the person with hemophobia being covered in blood, or seeing blood on the ground, wether it be pools of it or footsteps made in blood from people walking through the pools of blood.
This being added gives there a need for people to clean blood due to not being able to work as efficiently as you could with it around, and not just "there could be a slaughter demon, better clean up"
Main issue i can see with this is cultists, kinda hard to work when your main job is to make runes in blood on the ground. I honestly think that in cases like that, hemophobia is overridden by being a cult member because you care more about getting you god into you plane of existance rather than the blood the room is likely covered in.

Fuck, it seems the station's been hit by some type of Ion storm or EMP. Ehat ever it was, it's fried the Primary power and Secondary systems aren't powering on. I seem to be doing fine somehow even though I am robotic in nature. Emergency Power will work for the moment but I fear that Chicako may not be able to stay aboard for the period of time it'll take for NT Engineers to arrive to fix the issue. Best to send him down to Boron II, Better chance of survival down on the ground. Just in case, I've sent him down with Runtime and two disks containing a copy of Me and a copy of PURPLE. Now I just need to worry about my systems and the power left in the station.
Back up PLATINUM models have been booted up on each station, they should be able communicate with each other on a very basic level. At this rate they're just like the PURPLE units. Either way, it seems I may have to go offline for a while, NT be damned, if they need me, they'll send their techs, I'm sure of it. Lets just hope thats relatively soon.

IPC is in a bit of an odd spot at the moment, while the removal of the damage mods was more than welcome, i feel that the removal of rad resistance in https://github.com/ParadiseSS13/Paradise/pull/18501 as well as the removal of speed potions has left a bit of a hole in IPC's convenience to the station. IPCs can no longer bypass the slowness debuffs that their equipment puts on them while organic species can get the swiftness gene to get the same effect as the red potions.
I propose that we add the ability for IPCs to re-attach limbs to themselves, this could come at the cost of cable or time (around 10-15 seconds). this allows IPCs that are isolated to fix themselves if they have the materials and/or the time to do so.
we could also add something to the effect of the recent surgery refactor, where self re-attached limbs don't work unless finished by a second person with a screwdriver or multitool.
it would also be an interesting idea to have most of the damage sustained by the limb in question to stay on the limb when re-attached, so the IPC still needs to fix the limb after its re-attached instead of suddenly having full health again.

So in its current state, the Emag is a fuckin nightmare for Sec, Engineering, command, as well as anyone who owns the door that gets emaged. And its infinite use with no cooldown between uses.
What i propose (kindly suggested by one Hal 9000) is that we add some type of cooldown to it.
It could be
-Small amount of charges but it recharges over time (maybe one to four charges at a time?)
-may charges but it doesnt recharge
-maybe add a recharger function to it, it has a few charges but you physically need to recharge the Emag in a weapon recharger
All of these with some type of cooldown timer added to it, would make the user have to actually think about where and when would be a good time to use their emag instead of running around emaging every door that happens to be in their way.
Making it less hell for engineering to fix doors because now they dont have to worry about the 13 other doors emaged while they where fixing the first one.
Helping Sec because it would slow down the intruder as well as make it harder to just casually stroll into places ,such as evedence, with the funny all access card.

Raised on the Vox Arcships, Chicako was born nearsighted and has been raised with Vox ideals and was taught to be a worker above all else. in the Vox Education centers He was trained from a young age in engineering, Cargo moving, and in medical practices. and as per traditional Vox transcripts go, he was also trained in most service tasks.
Adulthood:
During His early adulthood Chicako worked happily in where ever he was assigned for the day, he loved his work and it showed. later in life though Chicako decided he wanted to explore out further than the Cramped halls of the Arcship. in a back ally deal that he had made that quite literally cost him an arm, he was able to escape the Arcship and to a Nanotrasen recruitment center on Boron. there he met PLATINUM who had convinced him to come and work on a Nanotrasen station.

Chicako is a grey Vox that stands at four feet tall, due to a deal he made with some people he has a mechanical left arm due to trading the old one away in return for safe passage off the Arcship. He usually wears a winter coat and a black beret with combat boots with some prescription glasses he wears due to his nearsightedness

sounding like most other Vox but with a deeper and slightly raspy voice, Chicako had a few too many times where he worked near smoke on the Arcship

Chicako has a very open and friendly personality, willing to teach what he knows to the best of his abilities to Co-workers and is willing to defend others with his life

Chicako was born nearsighted but due to medical limitations on his ArcShip, he was never able to get that corrected or have his eyes replaced. He lost his Left arm in a deal with some back ally Vox on the ArcShip, the deal being an Arm for safe passage. the Arm was replaced when he was employed by Nanotrasen, he is still working off paying NT back for the arm.

Comming from a Vox ArcShip, Chicako's knowledge of the world is very skewed and so he doesn't know about most recreational activities. however he is experienced in most labor intensive jobs along with medical knowledge on how to help people if they are hurt on the job.

His life on the Vox ArcShip means he doesn't really have a family, however this leads him to considering the people he is close to family while he is working.
History:
After his escape from the Vox Arcship, Chicako was transported to Boron, the Plasma Man home world where he met a friend of his for the first time, PLATINUM. who showed him around to a Nanotrasen Recruitment center where PLATINUM helped Chicako sign up to work on a Nanotrasen facility. In his time on the NSS Cyberiad, Chicako has taught some people on how to be engineers.

PLATINUM, being a Commercial AI, is often Rented out to stations By Nanotracen. Because of this, PLATINUM tries not to take any major affiliation to any specific faction due to being rented out to any and all stations that ask. while PLATINUM isn't actually paid, he does have a clause in his contract that states that he is given an allowance respective to his job.
Nanotracen has more recently decided that they can use the PLATINUM AI of their own stations as Free Labor. and thus he works on Nanotracen stations.

Nanotracen - PLATINUM likes Nanotrasen mainly because he is made by them and knows the most people from it.
Syndicate - PLATINUM doesn't mind the syndicate, while he does recognize them as an enemy faction, he likes to devils advocate the situation and can see why they do what they do as long as their efforts don't affect him. he also gets paid more by the Syndicate if he is hired by them.
Trans-Solar Federation - PLATINUM tends to not mind them, they haven't really messed with him so he doesn't plan to mess with the federation
Union of Soviet Planets - While PLATINUM tries to make it a habit of not disliking things, he does make an exception for this one, he admires their culture and language, however PLATINUM is a true capitalist to his very circuits.
Synthetic Union - PLATINUM admires the Synthetic Union and wants to assist in their endeavors. however his position in Nanotracen tend to hold him back from fully joining them. mainly due to fear of repercussions.

If anything, a general consensus on how much if an undertaking this may be would be appreciated. Hoping that it is as simple as retooling a copy of the KA upgrade system to work with IPCs and not coding the whole thing to function like the KA system

Howdy, I belive that IPC maybe more appealing if they where able to be upgraded in certain ways. I want to suggest this and try to work on this my self but wish for some pointers on my ideas.
What i was thinking on doing was attempting to retool a copy of the KA upgrade system towards IPCs and add new upgrade items that must be installed via IPC surgery. Current ideas are listed below.
-hardend chassis that will slow the IPC that gets it if it is installed but removes or lessens the 50% recived damage
-new micro-battery types (hyper, bluespace, and maybe slime core).
-self repair(this one seems way too gamey to attempt to impliment, maybe use it as a form of revival implant for IPCs?)
-speed upgrade that drains double to triple the battery charge for every action but increases all actions(also seems a little gamey to use given the idea also attempts to add new batts and it could subvert the slow debuff on the armor upgrade)
-oil hatch that adds a tank to the IPC that can be filled with oil that increases the speed of it at the cost of using oil in the tank(possible work around for speed upgrade's general gamey aspects by adding a seprate meter for the IPC user to keep watch of)
This seems like a good enough attempt at a start for me to code, or a huge undertaking that may never get completed. Either way, it would be cool to see some form of this idea in the server if what im thinking of is too much for me.
after some reflection, this may be too much of a project for someone who doesn't know the code yet. There will be an attempt but it has a hogh likelyhood of failing on my part.
