Actually, I wasn't being a jerk or anything and I wasn't being sarcastic or impolite. I'm just saying that asking for a karma transfer just because you don't like your account name is kind of lame. And I'm emphasizing the fact that you had a second account because you were banned somewhere else, which does not play in your favor at all. At least that's what I understood from what you're saying.
Basically what you are saying is this " I was banned for being rude to the host of another server. I thus created a new account with a name that I don't even like (somehow...). That's why I'm asking for a karma transfer ".
Sorry if you felt offended.
You're acting like a karma transfer is a bigger deal then it is. It's not like he's asking for more karma- he's just asking for it to be sent to another account, because he doesn't like the current account's username. Such a simple and justifiable procedure, it couldn't even be called a 'favor', just 'something byond should've implemented already'

I think sec medbay is fine already. Anything bigger then some small physical bruises should be treated at the real medbay, anyway.
a body scanner would be nice tho

These two things only become an issue when you A) decide it's genius to enter the church. Why do you even need to be in the chapel at all? B) Decide to space walk... which again, is entirely unnecessary.balls
stop falling for the b8

For months now, I've thought you should be able to shove tiny objects up your ass if your jumpsuit is off and click on your crotch with it, at which point it's irretrievable to you until it explodes out of your asshole in a shower of blood at a completely random moment.
Nobody ever listens to my ideas, though...

Can I ask what the point of having player-controlled space carp rounds is when they have to act exactly like a real space carp would, but slower?
-
I would dismiss this as 'Bureaucracy: The Game Mode', but when I really think about it, it would actually just be Nations on crack. Having every department charge money for basic services would massively discourage cooperation between departments, and drive a huge wedge between departments much faster and effectively then nations does. After all, your goal given to you by Nanotransen is to be the richest, so why buy anything from anybody when you can just send an underling to steal and pillage it for you?
It also fracture Nation's nationalism factor, the only thing preventing it from becoming complete free-for-all chaos, by having every crew member want to become the richest individual person. How else would a lowly cargo tech do that, I wonder, other then by turning on his rich, oppressive quartermaster and torturing his PIN out of him?
I see Roboticists kidnapping greyshirts and turning them into service borgs to create automatic dosh factories. I see medbay and R&D teaming up as always, until the CMO suddenly activates the EMP on the RD's mech and the medical underlings appearing out of the maint halls to ambush him and take his spacepesos. I see an assistant winning at the slots and getting a cool million spacepesos, only to be hunted down by all departments for the rest of the round hoping for their grab of the loot.
... then again, considering the ruleset on this server, yeah, it would probably just turn into a boring trying-to-rp-beauracracy-while-everyone-hates-each-other-but-cant-do-anything-about-it simulator, where the only way to possibly complete your objectives is to be the HoS and charge poor engineering 50 spacepesos a minute for 'mandatory patrols'.

How to make people use money more often: Get rid of the PIN system entirely. Don't know about you, but on every server I've been on, I've entirely avoided anything that requires any use of money because I'm tired of fucking pulling up my notes and manually inputting an ID and PIN every time I want a fuckin' soda.

2-5 ERT versus 50-70 antags?
even if they all had advanced DS assault mechs they'd be fucked

use [ list ], not [ list= ]

realistically this would make sense.
but gameplay wise, being able to see anything around you within your line of sight (even with like a 15x15 area) would be op as shit in most situations it would apply. especially sniper rifles- having your game suddenly ruined by someone who you had no idea of where they were and no way to know where they were isn't fun.

A med doctor has less chance to break in, and if there is a viro, usually noone gets promoted.
then griefers planning to release diseases would just choose virologist
-
If you give all doctors regular access to virology than you can expect that every shift there will be a deadly pandemic going around, due to griefers
and how is keeping virologists and medical doctors separate supposed to stop griefers, exactly?

also as long as a single person out there considers a painting art, it's art. doesn't have to have a deeper meaning to it, and doesn't even have to look good (though i personally think that painting you posted does look good). now, is it high art, on the other hand...

Mikhail, your signature has your name spelled wrong. Isn't it Volen?

The clowns aren't supposed to be hostile though, they're supposed to be funloving.
yeah and all sec guards automatically hate fun, so hostile
-
Do it do it do it do it do it
Please make this a real game mode.
Also NTX you're just doing your job when you arrest them when you antagonize something it seems more like you're trying to brutally murder or beat them.
no, antagonize just means 'cause someone to become hostile'
just being a sec officer would already make every clown on the station hostile towards you by default
what the objective should've said was 'don't grief the clowns', which is redundant because that's already a rule
-
wow thanks!!!!!!

clowns should bleed confetti

AFK
in Suggestions
if the game freezes up or crashes and i have to reload (which happens all the time) i won't be able to come back for 9 minutes even though i was only afk for a few seconds
can you still pull afk people? if you can, people will just pull them into space. if you can't, people won't be able to take to the brig, dorms, or out of harms way.
whenever security is about to arrest somebody they would just go afk on the spot and hope the officers get bored and leave by the time they get back in 9 minutes
whenever nuke ops arrives on the station the captain would just go afk
whenever a traitor tries to kill somebody they would just go afk on the spot
in rev all of the heads would go afk until the round is over
whenever somebody is going to be executed they'll just go afk
and so on

Rufus Shinra unbuckled !
You were unbuckled from the chair by Rufus Shinra.
Your left leg hurts.
You are now running on internals from the the extended-capacity emergency oxygen tank on your left hand.
You put the the box into the industrial backpack.
Your left foot hurts.
I'm not really seeing anything there that would count as you getting griffed and ruining your immershun. I just see a friendly person helping you with your chair buckle.
As the pod departs he just decides to space me by pushinggetting shoved around by someone doesn't show up in the chat box

I'm not sure what your contribution is other than "This isn't fun because A) People will kill each other to become rich B) That won't happened because this server does RP.
Anything more thought provoking than that?
Because making valid predictions about how the idea would turn out if it was implemented couldn't possibly contribute anything to this discussion, right? Wait, no, that's the entire fucking process of deciding whether it's a good idea worth implementing or not.
Besides, the entire point of the post was talking about how great the idea could be, so your damage control was both shitty and unnecessary.
