Dakrhunter2 Posted October 4, 2015 Share Posted October 4, 2015 (edited) Admin Key: TullyBBurnalot Complaint: I was disarmed and then grabbed aggressively by a player within the corridor, I then tried to run 3-4 steps to create some distance, so I could ask what was going on, he then ran at me again and I responded with a punch to the chest which I believed was fine in RP sense because I had no clue what this guy wanted to do to me, I then tried to call security, no avail they weren't arriving in time and the whole time the player continued to punch me, I then informed the admins and asked if he was an antag, and that's where I made a bad move. The admin that responded to my situation, simply told me it was my fault that the guy kept assaulting me, at this point so I could speak to the admin properly I continued to run off, thats when the player found a light tube on the floor and stabbed me with it until I was bleeding, I then continued to run off and the player dropped the light tube in favour of picking up a screwdriver, he continued to chase me until my skull was broken and I couldn't see from both eyes the player then chased the guy dragging me into medbay and pulled me out of a cryo cell to shove me into the disposal unit, again the admin in question told me it was my fault, and that I should have used metagame knowledge, that aggressively grabbing someone doesn't harm them. I was then muted from using adminhelp so that I couldn't continue my discussion, I then went into OOC to try to continue the discussion and even asked the admin why they attempted to avoid the conversation instead of explaining to me and maybe we could both have settled upon something, I was referred to rule #1, to which I responded with pointing out that the player in question broke Rule #4 in excess, and again instead of explaining to me why the players blatant disregard of Rule #4 was justified, I was muted from using OOC. We've talked to tully and resolved the situation, the chaos of the round and shortage of admins made the situation hard to contain. About being muted, it should not be something used so liberally, as it silences the player and leaves a very sour taste in your mouth, trust me I know. Hopefully this will not happen again.
