While often hiding behind a faint smile, the emptiness in his eyes is quick to reveal just how much tragedy he's endured. Virtually found in the station bar on a daily basis, he can be seen drinking and smoking his demons away. Divorced and a father of five, he can occasionally get attached to people that remind him of his children. Sadly, being a belligerent drunk was no way to win custody and he's not seen most of his offspring in over two decades. A little known fact about him is that he despises everything about being in space, he's mainly here to be able to support his children. Vitaly's ancestry can be traced back to Russia, which is often made obvious as he matches the stereotype quite well. A fan of pratical jokes, and a broad sense of humour to boot, he's no stranger to fooling his fellow crew members which is one of the few things that keep his mind out of the floor. Qualifications: -Leadership - (as he's just very good at angrily yelling.) -Security training from a two week training course. It had very good instruction videos. -Medical training to adapt his makeshift training originally meant for treating uncle Dmitri's farm animals Employment Records: - 1/2 year in a command position. -7 years a member of the security force -3 years a junior surgeon in medbay Security Records: -Public indecency -Starting a brawl in the bar -Petty theft. Bar reports many bottles of hard liquor missing. Medical Records: "For god sake. I found mister Kovalenko in critical condition YET AGAIN because his liver gave in. Does this old man never learn? At least the old bastard keeps his sensors maxed."
