(Spoiler: I don't) Have crew monitoring stations light up when somebody is being actively injured or is dying. (I'm envisioning a tiny "LED" in the corner) Yellow for injured, red for dying. As it stands, I'm not sure how reliably (if at all) the display updates, and it seems like something fairly intuitive.
