This ends up as one of a few outcomes: The shuttle contains wounded crew and the Cyberiad provides medical aid. The shuttle contains wounded ERT and the Cyberiad provides medical aid, but then has to fight whatever wounded the ERT. The shuttle is empty, save for long dead corpses. The shuttle contains a lone changeling and several husks. The shuttle contains giant spiders/zombies/xenos. The shuttle contains a pirate crew who plan on looting the station. The upside is that they know it exists right off the bat. Mix that with the inability to call the shuttle and you have a survival horror round of cat and mouse between the crew and the monster.
