Lifixs Posted July 7, 2014 Share Posted July 7, 2014 As an act of diplomatic goodwill Nanotrasen has arranged for the King/Queen of (Race/Faction) to visit their research station. At the beginning of the round, Centcom announces the impending visit and orders several random preparations be made. After about five minutes the Royal Shuttle docks with the station, it includes the following passengers; The Royal, two body guards, and three "entourage". Among the crew are agents sent by the syndicate to disrupt the visit. Their objectives may range from theft of royal items to assassination. Possible Objectives for the Crew: Royal Completes a "Grand Tour" (Visiting every major room on the station including the famed maintenance closets.) Royal samples a wide selection of the stations gourmet food/drink. Royal sleeps in a fine room. Royal accepts x number of fine gifts. Royal signs a treaty to improve relations. Royal escapes alive. The Royal's ship is filled with riches and unique items, a prime target for mischief. There is also a communications console that can be used to call for emergency assistance to rescue the royal. In the event that the station offends the Royal, war can be declared through this console causing failure or major disaster. The Royal carry's a stamp that should be honored by station staff. Royal "boons" and pardons can be given in this manner. In this way the Royal may be hounded for favors by the common folk. The entourage members each have espionage objectives but must perform their official duty's as directed by the Royal or face harsh punishment.
