Assigning karma immediately grants the karma (because i have a tendency to leave karma granting to the VERY last moment) but then the feedback comes up showing the cap's medals. Robustness, Purple Heart, Distinguished conduct, etc. That'd be really neat. Then you can spend karma to have these medals spawn on you via the loadout system.
