i was trying to not discuss the events at hand since everyone was getting overworked, and in the end i was tempbanned for saying the word "epic." thanks for the clarification.

is a bit more than an offhand comment. its kind of an insult and is pretty rude and condescending. having a conversation and trying to understand what's going on isn't an argument. i don't know why you think i'm super confrontational and aggressive and "unruly", but you should tone it down a bit as well. im not here to argue or get mad or poke fun at anyone. im not trying to be insulting, rude, or whatever. im really not. im trying to be as chill as i can and understand your perspective.
a large portion of this complaint is revolving around something i didnt bring up. i still dont even know why i was tempbanned. i didnt bring up the revolt in dchat, i didnt complain about it, i didnt try to justify it, i didnt complain about the admins, i didnt complain about dying, all i did was talk about IC events and characters.

i didnt complain about the cargo revolt. in the logs you posted and the screenshot i posted, i said im not defending the cargo revolt and i wasnt even talking about it, past the first instance of dchat. that was the ONLY time i had brought up the cargo revolt. in the second instance, i was talking about the SOO as a character. i think its cliche. yet everyone construed it, including you, as me defending the cargo revolt. defending and justfiying it. it seems like words are being put into my mouth and a strawman is being attacked, because i never once OOCly stated that cargo was justified in doing what it did, and that's not even the crux of this complaint.
am i being tempbanned because i argued against CC ICly? is disagreeing with people against the rules? am i being tempbanned because i said "using a god char and gamma borg is probably the most boring way to confront a revolt"? i dont believe i was being overly toxic in dchat. from my perspective, everyone who was getting upset with me was doing so on false grounds.

Brief description (tl;dr here. Just the critical elements): was talking about an SOO that killed me in dchat, said i dislike the super high up military officer trope, people in dchat said i was bringing up the cargonian revolt again (was my first time talking about it), spacemanspark brought up a bwoink from a day earlier in dchat then banned me
Full description of events: so i have two imgur albums. first one is the dchat leading up to me being tempbanend, second is my conversation with kyet also leading up to me being tempbanned.what happened in the round was cargo revolted, killed a detective and IAA, an SOO teleported in (i think, i didnt see them come in) and murdered all of them. i walked in, demanding an explanation as to why my cargo staff were killed. i was ignored, made a few announcements saying sec brought it upon themselves, had a discussion about supporting unions in command chat, was threatened by the gamma borg over PDA, SOO popped into command chat to call me a jackass, i asked for a written report, made another announcement saying i support unions and the right of workers to ask for better working conditions, then was promptly assassinated by a civilian with an M1911-P
in deadchat, i started off with saying "epic" then went to use the washroom for a bit, then came back and stated the stuff in the first imgur album.
as you can see, i never once brought up the cargonian revolt or tried to justify it in dchat. that was a position i maintained ICly and i guess everyone assumed i had the same stance OOCly and were getting on my ass about it, including spacemanspark, who broke this rule on the guide to admin complaints:

i really dont get the reason for my tempban. i reached out to spaceman on discord asking for his perspective, no response. but he seemed pretty willing to discuss it in dchat before he hit me with a tempban. i was only discussing the IC conduct of the SOO, and never tried to justify the cargo revolt or anything like that OOCly.
the second album, above, is my conversation with kyet. i ahelped because i was a little confused that i got killed by a CIVILLIAN - no special title, no special gear, just a normal looking dog person with an M1911-P. i asked for where i could find the source for unions being illegal, but im just "expected to know" the backstory thats not on the wiki.
my biggest gripe is that spaceman brought up a previous convo in dchat, and when i questioned why he can do that but i cant, i was tempbanned. i was only talking about the SOO and RP tropes, other people brought up the IC events and said i was bringing it up again. i dont think i was being toxic or doing anything that would even warrant a tempban, which is why i asked spaceman in discord what his perspective is. in fact, i hardly even spoke in dchat, and never (to my recollection) tried to justify the revolt or the actions of the people involved, IN dchat. everything i tried to justify was ICly, my character, NOT deadchat.
i really just want to know what the issue is here.

being a journalist is a lot of fun when you put the effort into it.
below is an album of the stories i made. i was weaving a complex inter-departmental narrative about the clown and quartermaster until the station got attacked by spiders and xenos. i eventually signed on poly as an intern and had them drag me around in a wheelchair. we got a picture of the princess terror, i quickly uploaded a story as it was murdering a sec officer in the library (lol) then skedaddled to robotics, where i got promptly ambushed by two black terrors and another princess. unfortunately i didnt get a screenshot of this last article before i died, and was planning on doing so later on as the ERT, space ranger and deathsquad. yep, i played all three in one round.
probably one of the funner rounds as journalist for me, mostly because i just made up the parts where people are saying stuff. asked them for their opinion on something, overplayed it heavily and made it seem more dramatic than it was. it's fun! i like it.
