Yeah that's what I was thinking too or maybe have an pAI upgrade module they could make later. Maybe even let you [spoiler2]emag[/spoiler2] pAIs. Im sure something fun could come of it!

Something to consider if any changes made are going to be too strong you could just make pAI harder to get. Also on the subject of records please let pAI search them rather than just having a list. I was once the pAI of a detective and picked the sec records module in order to help my master check prints without having to go back to his office but with it being a list this was impossible.

That's kind of vague, a characteristic many posts complaining about security share. If a specific player is a problem, you make a player complaint. If you think something should be added in space law/SOP to fix a specific problem, you can put it as a suggestion. If you want to see things dealt with IC, really, REALLY get to know SOP and play as an IAA. Posts that complain about the department as a whole and lack details or suggested solutions really don't get us anywhere in terms of 'fixing' security.
In fact, if you think security isn't up to par, give it a try and see if you can avoid these problems.
Sorry for being vague I should've just wrote out what happened in detail but didnt think this was really the place for it, it was some random name I cant remember and have never seen before (probably wont see them again) so I didn't bother writing a complaint. Maybe I should have I dunno not sure if it was even complaint worthy I'll have to check with admins in the future. There isnt anything I really have in mind for space law and SoP I think most of it is fine. As for playing IAA? I have a few times but that doesnt help when I want to play another role and need to make a complaint. The complaint wasnt really about the department as a whole most of the players are ok, you are one of the good ones dont think I dont notice! Also I have played sec a few times and I know it can drive you nuts, thats why I only play detective and sec borgs now. Detective doesnt have to deal with arrests most of the time and as sec borg I just leave them for the warden.

Finally made an account so I can whine about stuff on the forums, maybe do some not whining too. I'm Noxid on byond and IC usally Sam Blackford or SAM maybe some others when I feel like it. Just looking for some 2D spessmand RP and slice of action. Anyway lets all get along and have fun etc.

I think a big problem here is how you are just told to deal with it IC when sec has been really shitty. That would be all fine but no one wants to listen. I had a round where I just kept been told to go to the IAA when there wasnt even an IAA on shift. Everyone I went to just didnt give a crap because I guess they just assumed I was a shitter or something. Really disappointing when certain people can just get away with being terrible with not even an IC punishment. Not that these people would care I imagine because a lot of the shit sec have 0 interest in RP at all so an IC punishment doesnt really effect them.
Another thing is that it is way easier to be shit than punish them for being shit. It can take 15 minutes to get a IAA complaint through and often it tends to be red alert or something so nothing gets done about it at all where as if you wanna be a shit officer and just pepper spray cuff and taze people with 0 words you can just do it and laugh as the other person spends 20 minutes to get you told off.
Edit: Just wanted to add I love you guys who play good sec! Keep up the good work. Does make me sad when I see some greytiding shit take advantage of you though.

It's Sameeechii (I think) and wow thanks that was my first time playing journalist I remember the round. Snapping pictures of you and maybe making some things up about you. My personal favourite was getting a picture of you next to a head on a spear and reporting that you would not tolerate any greytide on the station with the implication being that you would put their heads on spears.
I think I will have to write up a list myself.

Captain: Not many Captains I remember but Renomaki Story is always nice when they are Cap, or any role really.

Station AI: S.Q.U.I.S.H gotta love the squish. I always give him corporate laws if im captain because its a joy to see him play using them.
Security:
Warden: SINA- is nice to clowns and vox. Wow.
Officer: Lilly is a nice friendly officer whose head I've delivered to robotics multiple times now.
Engineering:
Atmospherics Tech.: Ty Ohmha (Probably spelt wrong) converted the library into a vox room a few times for me nice guy.
Medical:
Geneticist: ALL OF THEM ARE EVIL
Doctor: Alex Rockwell nice guy who always seems to be working alone while having to heal the whole station
Coroner: Wish I could remember the guys name. He was recording himself talking as he did the autopy and included it in his reports.
Virologist: Cepheius Cross. Always have fun with this guy.
Science:
Scientist: Kyle Kabum. Love this guy always such a goofball doing weird shit I think he is an antag most of the time with the weird stuff he does. Like making a bunch of humanised monkeys and going into the maint to hunt for dead bodies to transfer the brains into.
Service:
Botanist: Hannah Snow friendly and does the job well. Also no fucking bees thank god.
Bartender: Siegmund Friedrich (Like the other person im not sure if thats right either) cool guy, cheats at cards.
Chef: Nana Patches taught my clown how to cook and deep fries everything.
Clown: All of them.
Internal Affairs Agent: Maya Stewart solid IAA has neat paperwork too.
Magistrate: Simon Grey is the only one who I even remember dont see many people playing it.
