  1. *RESERVED POST* Some recipes are not working at all. Not the Tastyfish recipe and not sanything similar to the old one. I don't know if they are not coded, their code is broken or their recipes are different still. I am also trying to figure how to bake the cake and prepare the sausage. The cake recipes are not working according to any immediate use of Tastyfish's recipes or substituting the every 5 flour for a raw dough. The sausage recipe is not working according to standard baystation anymore. I also tried to combine meatballs as that is the way Goostation did it. Neither does combining meatball with meat work. Another recipe I tried to make is the banana-nut bread, it didn't work either only got the charred messed up recipe from trying it. I will try other ingredients in it, change the number of doughs and eggs too.
  2. Changed from standard Baystation 12 The new cooking Paracode improved on standard baystation by having different intermediate ingredients you can make without using the microwave. It is very fun and reminescent of old Goonstation code too. The biggest change is that instead of adding raw flour your recipes, now you knit dough [] for most of them. Knitting dough is as simple as combining a flour sack[] with one raw egg []. Many recipes that used to take flour now take this dough instead. Examples: Hamburger - cook 1 dough in the microwave to make a bun [], combine bun with meatball (the patty) to put the hamburger together. Tofu burger - cook 1 dough in the microwave to make a bun, cook the bun and 1 piece of tofu to make a tofu burger. Bread - cook 1 dough with 1 egg in the microwave. Sandwich - 2 Bread Slices, 1 Meat Steak (not meat cuts), 1 Cheese Wedge cooked in the microwave. Another new ingredient is the flatdough: flatdough* - use the rolling pin to flat 1 dough. This is used for pizza, pies and tacos. *[bug] The flatdough is curently lacking a sprite, but you can still pick it up and put it in the microwave to make recipes. All you have to do is right click on the spot you just made it, where the raw dough was when you used the rolling pin on it. When you right click there will be the flatdough in the menu, click on that option and then click on pick it up. You should do that while having the active hand empty. Then the flatdough will be in your hand and you should be able to put it inside the microwave or over another table, even in your backpack or other container. The whole cooking Paracode overhaul seems to be based on the Tastyfish food recipes from his Baystation 12 wiki user page: http://baystation12.net/wiki/index.php?title=User%3ATastyfish/food Tastyfish is a retired developer from Baystation 12. Other changes from baystation standard recipes: Spaghetti - Process 1 flour sack in the food processor. Donut - Microwave 1 Dough, 5 Sugar
  3. You could make better. Start with shrinking some image you like to that many pixels. Then adjust contrast, gamma, hue.
  4. Welcome. Although we are both new to the server. You really enjoy your characters, you put good thought into them. I hope you get to vent your frustations a lot with those characters. I would expect they can be annoyed most of time then. Would you say that is a general trend when you interact in-game or otherwise?
  5. Thank you. Hope we meet across in-game too. About the mime, it was messed up but I didn't notice anything sexual.
  6. The second round was very weird too. I was a chageling and started as a librarian. Some other dumbass changeling stops around and try to sting me. Then he forces me to swallow some pill that makes me stumble about while asking someone to take me to medbay. I finally get to medbay and the CMO comes to treat me. I manage to sting her and dragged her to the operating room. It was a clumsy plan, but I used the circular saw to chop her head off. The problem was she wouldn't die. She rose up and took the saw from me and used it to cut my head instead! Until I rose up and managed to hurt her even more so she collapsed. It was pretty messed up I couldnt figure out how to get my head back. I asked help from another changeling to try to reattach my head back. But when he was trying to help there was an explosion in medbay! I was pretty incapacitated the rest of the round. I never got to properly thank the changeling that was helping me. His character was Gomer, changeling Mr. Nu. I was changeling Psi. If you know who he is tell me so I can thank him.
  7. Yes, first round, some mime called Crazy Old Maurice, uses a banana peel to make me slip, then tie my hands with restrains and kidnap me. I was just collecting some littering around the Primary tool storage area when he attacked me. Then he takes me to a sort of lair of his and buckle me to a bed. I tried to communicate but he was just doing annoying things, I couldn't cope and just shutdown. It was so creepy and disturbing, I was also pissed how he could drag me around while I scream for help and noone can do anyhting about it.
  8. Hi everyone, Im a veteran SS13 player, really love the game. It is different from anything else, everyone plays together in a really intense way it. It has action, adventure, drama and intrigue. You trust people, they help you, get in your way, betray and sabotage. It's fascinating. I just joined the forums and Im going to play in the Paradise Station server for the first time. I hope we can have a good time. I will try hard to be a good player addition. If I slip and make some bad choices playing, which sometimes happen in this game, it gets pretty heated, please be open-minded because Im willing to improve and talk about it. Usually I play a lot of time, many rounds, over on a single sitting too. SS13 is something I appreciate and sometimes I take the time to play. So lets play and have fun.
