  1. Basically the units recommended are kind of a generic recommended dose. Things like Mutadone don't need a high concentration because they are instantly effective. There really is nothing on that list that you can overdose other than atropine (which requires 35u so that'd be at least 7 5u pills fed in rapid succession) but that's more of a niche drug, sure it caps oxyloss and if your health is low it'll heal burn and brute, but synthflesh is much more effective (rather than 3u per tick, it does the dosage e.g. 30 instantly for brute and burn). I would not generally recommend doing multiple different doses though since most doctors would rather play it safe and give a higher dose (assuming no overdose) than under treating a patient. Plus it makes the fridge really messy because you have multiple doses of each type of medicine. That being said, the only thing I would think would be okay to do in multiple doses is synthflesh because it is a pain to make and encourage the doctors to not use more than they need (informing them that it heals 1 to 1 for brute and burn should be a sufficient explanation). The issue I have with chemistry is that there are a few people who like to do everything themselves and don't want other chemists in the room. This is very harmful to the community since it really discourages new players from learning the job. Having a simple to follow guide that facilitates multiple chemists is the best way to encourage people to play the job. There is no reason the other chemist can't make standalone drugs like mannitol, mutadone, etc... while the main chemist does the more involved complicated drugs.
  2. Very nice guide! The chemistry section got me thinking of some optimizations though and I had a couple suggestions to improve it. The issue I had was that a lot of medicines were made in 120u quantities when it was was not as efficient as just creating in 90u batches. this causes a lot of downtime as you have to dispense the medicine twice (Since the dispenser only does 100u at a time) My synthesis chain isn't by any stretch of the imagination perfect, but I can get the base medicines made in the suggested order within the first 30 minutes of the game reliably with it it also can be done with only one chemmaster assuming you're getting water from the sink and taking time to get blood from your monkey. I welcome any comments or suggestions to it as it is not meant at all to be a perfect solution, but if followed exactly, you end up with very minimal waste which you could easily turn into more atropine (10 acetone and 10 phenol). I've timed myself on each section to get an idea of how long it takes. I am not the fastest at this so it is a good indication that it can be done quickly if you know what you're doing. So here it is: Reagent Synthesis: Formaldehyde in Beaker: 20 Ethanol 20 Oxygen 20 Silver Place inOven (leave in beaker) Ammonia in Bucket: 90 Hydrogen, 30 Nitrogen (repeat twice make 6bottles) Ammonia in Bucket: 30Hydrogen, 10 Nitrogen (one bottle) Oil in Bucket: 40Welding Fuel, 40 Carbon, 40 Hydrogen (leave in bucket) Cyanide in Beaker: 20 Oil, 20 Ammonia, 20 Oxygen. Place in Oven (leave in beaker) Diethylamine in Beaker: 10 Ammonia, 10 Ethanol put in oven(1bottle) Acetone In Bucket: 40Oil, 40 Welding Fuel, 40 Oxygen (4 bottles) Sulfuric Acid In Bucket:30 Sulfur, 30 Hydrogen, 30 Oxygen (transfer to Beaker then repeat andcombine in bucket) Phenol in Beaker: 10 Water, 10 Chlorine, 10 Oil (1bottle) Approximate Time: 5 minutes Medicine Synthesis suggested pill colors for consistency. Mannitol in Bucket: 40 Hydrogen, 40 Sugar, 40 Water (twice for 2410u Pills) Mutadonein Beaker: 10 Chlorine, 10 Plasma, 10 Radium, 30 Acetone, 30 Bromine (18 5u pills) Perfluorodecalin in Beaker: 30 Oil, 30 Hydrogen, 30 Fluorine, Put in oven (18 5u pills) repeat with 20u of each reagent (12 5u pills) Pentectic Acid in Bucket: 20 Formaldehyde, 20 Cyanide, 20 Ammonia, 20 Welding Fuel, 20 Chlorine, 20 Sodium(three times for 36 10u pills) Styptic Powder in Bucket: 30 Aluminum, 30 Oxygen, 30 Hydrogen, 30 Sulfuric Acid (3 times for 8 bottles and 6 20u patches) Silver Sulfadiazine in Beaker: 20 Ammonia, 20 Silver, 20 Sulfur, 20 Oxygen, 20 Chlorine (6 times for 30 20u patches) Synthflesh in Beaker:30 Blood, 30 Carbon, 30 Styptic (make 1 bottle and 23 30u patches) Atropine in Beaker: 20 Sulfuric Acid, 20 Ethanol, 20 Diethylamine, 20 Phenol, 20 Acetone (1 bottle then 14 5u pills) Saline-Glucose in Beaker: 40 Water, 10 Sodium, 10 Chlorine, 30 Sugar (1 bottle, and 6 10u pills need image) Oculine in Beaker: 30 Atropine, 30 Saline Glucose, 30 Spaceaccillin (18 5u pills) Cryoxadone in Bucket: 50 Plasma, 10 Water, 10 Nitrogen, 10 Chlorine, 10 Radium, 30 Acetone (8 Bottles) Mitocholide in Beaker: 30 Cryoxadone, 30 Plasma, 30 Synthflesh (9x 10u pills) Approximate Time: 25 minutes This will stock the following: 18x 10u Mannitol 18x 5u Mutadone 30x 5u Perfluorodecalin 36x 10u Pentetic Acid 12x 10u Styptic Powder 30x 20u Silver Sulfadiazine 23x 30u Synthflesh 14x 5u Atropine 6x 10u Saline Glucose 18x 5u Oculine 6x Cryoxadone 9 10u Mitocholide If there are two chemists, have the first one make Oil, Cyanide, Acetone, Mannitol, Mutadone and Perfluorodecalin. By that time you should be pumping out styptic powder, have the other chemist make the synthflesh and focus on continually making batches of synthflesh from the first chemist's stash of styptic. How to get rid of excess chemicals: Excess Ammonia? Make Silver Sulfadiazine Excess Styptic? Make Synthflesh Excess Acetone? Make Atropine/oculine if less than 30, otherwise make cryoxadone Excess Phenol? Make Atropine/oculine (only thing really worthwhile from phenol) Excess Sulfuric Acid? Make Styptic Powder, lord knows you'll need more synthflesh
