  1. I'm no good at spriting but I'll toss my stuff here, I suppose. (I'm just dumping what I'm practicing on, mostly recolors) Leezurds: Same as above, no weird shoulderpad things Projectiles: A superheated plasma bolt or something, I just messed with the laser structure: I dunno what this is, created it from scratch.
  2. Here be a prototype alternate sprite: http://i.imgur.com/gCWGA1c.png I tried to keep faithful with the shading and whatnot. EDIT: I can put enough time and effort in to get a set of five or so different looks/variation. DOUBLEEDIT: If anything, they should at least have some variation in looks. Look at the world today, there's varying looks and the like between nationalities, and it'd serve to make a more diverse grouping to do so. A less flamboyant look: http://i.imgur.com/JNL382M.png
  3. If you could supply a suggestion for making them more interesting, please do so. And besides, unless this is a baystation clone, it should have a different set of ingame fluff.

    Yo.

I'm Bobbeh, man-god of propane and propane accessories. I'm an ex-bs12 player, goon player, and just recently started here. Place seems interesting and has a good premise, and I want to see it grow. I made the original fluff for lizards waaay back on bay and if it wasn't obvious I already stated how I want to overhaul them. Here's to a good robust RP, mangs. I play as uh... Alexan Nakashian, Sosi Nakashian, Jacob Hicks, Micheal Astherson, and a bunch of others.
  5. Yo, I'm Bobbeh, spaceman since 2010 and ex-bs12er, current goon, and fresh player of paradise. But that's not the point of this thread. I'm proposing a ~rework~ of lizard-dude fluff, since it's just a copy of Bay's and could use a bit of alterations. I'll be reworking the idea from suggestions/time and whatnot. Basic Premise: NT preforms some nefarious experiments with DNA, to where the stuff done in genetics looks like a tea-party. In that, they created "Beta Strain" AKA reptilian humanoids. Keeping that kept under wraps for a time, until several subjects escaped, needless to say they would've been -pissed- at NT, and the like. After several generations, most of the hostility would've cooled down, save for a few grudging members of the species who would turn to the syndicate for aid on their own personal war on NT. Omnivorous due to the shared DNA with humans, but with small needle-like teeth, making it a bit tough to eat plant matter, so they would still naturally prefer meat. GAMEPLAY: A little coder told me that the lizards are least-popular do to a lack of interesting traits, so I had several ideas... Heat-sensing pits: Like how vipers have, a heat sensing organ that could detect warm-blooded creatures through darkness/walls etc. Of course this wouldn't be "THERMALS LOL", with the heat being a generic red blob, and it wouldn't apply to xenomorphs/their own kind. (are xenos warm blooded?) A downside could be a permanent thermal tint, or color-blindness if that's possible codewise? Cold blooded: Again, if possible, they could be twice as weak to cold damage, and being freezing would last twice as long as any other creature. This could be balanced that slight warmth would increase speed, but cease once the temp is back to normal. Slow metabolism: Very minor, but being reptiles, they would most likely need to eat less, and have more filling from food. CULTURE: The general mindset would probably be minimalist, and designed to give players a large amount of flexibility from such. Maybe a certain name-ing type, and the like. Most likely viewed with suspicion more than your average crewmen, due to past hostilites. APPEARANCE: Currently, there's only the 'lizard green' sprite, which is a bit dull. I've got an alternate sprite of them floating around somewhere, and could put enough work in to make a few others. (WILL ADD MORE SOON OR WHENEVER)
