Don't get ahead of yourself. These are NanoTrasen security pod pilots, not US Aviators.

Here's my google drive. It's the folder named "Fighter Jacket DMI Files"

"Ah, security, the nuke ops are throwing bombs"
Vote to remove bombs
"Nevermind, we're good"
In other words, a vote to remove explosive only screws over antags with a way that they can't counter. If someone self antags with a bomb, Ahelp it or post a player complaint.

They lost their separation when I converted them to PNG, but it shouldn't take too long to cut them apart and rebuild them. I'll be home in a few hours, so I should have it done by the end of the day.

Poltron, if you're interested in more sci-fi, where are the pseudo-humans? Where are the Vulkan, the Klingon, the Lorrdian, the Quarian? Evolution has shown us that, as far as we can observe, the primate is the only race capable of being the apex species on a planetary scale. There is an insanely small habitable zone for stars, an insanely smaller amount of planets within those zones, and insanely small number of those can sustain life. Logic would stand that, if the atmospheric composition was similar to Earth's as all races but the Vox seem to have, live would evolve along the same path as Earth's life. What I'm getting at here is that, other than human, an alien primate would be the most logical species to exist.

Poll losing.-->"I'm sure that most of the other side's votes aren't valid so we just won't count those."-->"Oh, would you look at that. Our side won!"
-
Sneaks in race-->Community in outrage-->Puts up poll on whether or not to keep race-->Vote turns in favor of removal-->THIS ISN'T A DEMOCRACY!
I can guarantee that if the Apeman species that I'm designing had a 38% no vote and a 30% yes vote with 32% either malcontent or abstaining, it would never go through. The problem that I'm seeing is that while there is not an overwhelming "remove" vote, there is even less of a "keep" vote. I've heard talk of removing votes that were created within a certain amount of time ago, but I get the feeling that you won't be removing the, "I'm new here, but I think the race should stay," votes.

Don't blame you.

That looks really good, but I'm not sure if it's possible with BYOND.

Partially colorblind. Basically just a gray filter.

I'm going to have to disagree with item two. The fact that welder bombs now only harm the lighter is ridiculous. On top of that, they are useful to security during a crisis. I've seen them as mines to be shot as giant spiders pass by, as breaching charges when a malf AI locked down the brig, and as weapons against nuke ops.
While there is potential for grief there, the pros outweigh the cons on this one.

The sheet is finished as far as I know. I'll have to run some tests to see if they fit together. UNfortunately, I'm stretching my knowledge of BYOND rather thin at the moment.

+1 towards this. It gives engineering players more variety towards powering the station.

I know of at least five people who have played on this server about as long as I have that made an account to cast their vote. Not all of them are from reddit, but all of them thought it was important enough make an account to vote.

This is as far as I can get tonight. I have friends coming over and we're going to the midnight release of Jurassic World.
Only the far right two torsos are finished, so don't freak out. I'm happy with the heads so far, but they leave a little room for improvement.

Your flavor text should be between two and four sentences about your character's general appearance. It should only be stuff that will not change on a moment's notice.
What you SHOULD include:
Height - Put this in metric with customary in parentheses. I know Most of us are from the US, but in the space future, we use metric.
Proximate age - If your character is 38, put that they appear in their mid to late twenties.
Accent - Unfortunately, it is hard to convey what accent, if any, your character is speaking in. Saying, "Ah, fack'n 'ell," could equally be Irish, English, or Australian. If you put it in your flavor text, you won't have to work as much towards trying to shove your accent down people's throats.
Demeanor - Is your character less than motivated? Put that their feet are dragging and there are bags under their eyes.
1-3 lifestyle clues - These are the subtle things that kick off RP. Are their gums brown from tobacco use? Do they have any noticeable scars or tattoos? This should be the meat of your character.
What you SHOULD NOT put in there:
Character name - If you are going into hiding, the fastest way to be found is to have a flavor text name that does not match your ID.
Things that you can already see - Chances are, if you went through cloning, you no longer have the "long auburn hair" from your flavor text. There's not need to state what people can see and chances are, it is different.
Facts that you can't see from a glance - Unless you have a diploma in your hand, There's no way for me to know you graduated business school with a minor in accounting.
Character emotion - Once again, don't just say that your character has recently fallen in love, convey it with your character's demeanor.
EXAMPLE:
The crewman before you stands approximately 183cm (6ft.) and appears in his early twenties. He has a single diamond ear ring in his left ear and walks with a slight limp on his right side. He keeps glancing over his shoulder as he walks and speaks with a German accent.

Seeing as the Pod Pilot's bomber jacket is now available to everyone and their mother, I've drawn up a couple of Top Gun inspired fighter jackets for the pod pilot to enjoy.
http://puu.sh/il7hU/dd11d90cfa.png - Stars and Stripes
(Doubt this one will get in in any capacity other than as a custom item if I choose to get one)
http://puu.sh/il7Fw/a22e37dd2d.png - Xeno Squadron
http://puu.sh/il7Zg/7d87750ee8.png - Carp Patrol
http://puu.sh/il8en/502cb28352.png - The Honk'n Raiders
The jackets have darker leather and less frill, more suited to a fighter jacket rather than a bomber jacket.

This isn't against you as a person, just some light-hearted prodding at you resetting the countdown in the other thread.

How's this?
They are a low technology with a tribal and shamanistic social structure with the leader of a group is usually the largest. Their species on a whole has only recently harnessed electricity. Other than the ones working for NanoTrasen as part of an uplift program and a few isolated groups spotted on rim worlds who presumably escaped scientific captivity, the species still believe that they are alone in the universe. In exchange for the privilege to remain among the other space-faring races, these "Kongs," as some people derogatorily call them, have foregone their violent social structure, though are prone to acts of violence and short-temperedness when prodded by the "Smoothies," a term that they have coined for humanity.
They'll need a name soon enough.
How about Advenus Primatem as their species designation? Alpha Papas or AP's for short. They are an uplifted species after all.
