Eventually, he left to live his own life, with a care-free attitude towards what the society around him thought of him. Despite his lack of help with his education, he attempted to learn via "Subjects for Dummies" books to obtain as much knowledge as he can. Interested with Genetics, he applied for a position and was hired aboard the NSS Cyberiad - he experiments on himself whenever he works, giving himself numerous health problems as a result.
