Not that important to the regular personal lockers, but patient's closets - if used - will be tied to a patient/doctor for the rest of the round. Yeah that could be a problem. On the other hand, it is already possible for people snagging something from the closet while it is open, then running off with it. I'm already careful not to open a closet with private stuff if someone is standing in close vicinity, this would be no different. I'll take a bit more risk for functional reuseable closets any day.
