    From your friendly vox network,

Go to your desktop- from there right click on your background and click on your graphics card, find dreamseeker in the programs and make an exception to run it on integrated graphics. there's a few ways it can be done, but I don't recomend doing it globally, unless you force it to do it globally if it says it's unsupported, then going in and changing it specifically to integrated, then going back to auto-selecting graphics. solves all the problems.

    Example:

    1 desktop rightclick

    2 invidia control pannel

    3 program settings

4 dreamseeker, if dreamseeker is unavailable or incompadible initially choose in global settings integrated.

5 set dreamseeker to integrated graphics only apply,

6 go back and set global graphics back to default, check dreemseeker in program settings, if it was specifed to stay the same (integrated) you should be good.

It's not Elysian's fault that you didn't fully read the rules.

And he already said he will adjust the ban.

    Anything else?

Because he's admitting that the ban is too heavy handed and adjusting the ban, I am going to wait on that, because adjust the ban is very very vague. And I've known people who will do something more radical or even barely less radical when they 'adjust'. Because the whole point to his argument in my ban appeal is 'there is no acceptions to rule 8'. Despite the rule 8 subrule that he filed me under permanent ban for is one of the only ones that don't threaten immediate ban in it's description.

    8. Meta:

"Don’t mess with SSD characters especially if you’re an antagonist. It’s too easy. This includes stealing their equipment. If you -really- need to, adminhelp first. "

People drag the SSD around, I even as an antag was following my target, closing in, the target SSDed, I A-helped and said 'Do you mind if I just take them to the sleepers since they ssded. And the admin said yes go ahead.". when it came to the hop in an entirely diferent round I only moved the item off him, and not even one whole square away from him. Despite that possibly being qualified as stealing it was still in his jobsite, in his computer right next to him, and I had no intent of moving him I hadn't Sent the A-help out yet because there was a sudden swarm of people in the room and people demanding job changes or acsess in the line, infact if elysian hadn't immediately jumped down my throat I was going to send out an A-help informing them that I had picked the id card off him to deal with an urgent situation at the moment.

  3.

Very well, I shall give my testament in defense.

Now, in order to address your first comment, I quote from your appeal:

    >(bulma wasn't hop at round start and seems to have been adminly set to it)

I deny these accusations, I asked the captain, Josiah Young, if the HoP was SSD. He said yes, I asked for the job and got it.

Now, yes, my reason for banning for you, is listed on the rules. As I quote:

    8. Meta: "Don’t mess with SSD characters especially if you’re an antagonist. It’s too easy. This includes stealing their equipment. If you -really- need to, adminhelp first."

Correction, it's improperly listed in the rules and is easy to oversight, and then was followed with a ban that even he agreed was too heavy handed.

  4.

Today, I also issued a unban ticket. But then I scratched my brow, and read over the server rules listed here on the sight for probably the third time in my life.

    Admin Key: elysianprince

Complaint: Jumped me for go ahead with the captains permission and replacing the HOP, even though it seemed the admin staff had jumped on that and set up a replacement for the HOP with out informing the players.

His reason for perma banning me, isn't listed on the rules. I don't like being lectured on rules that don't exist. Much less do I like being banned for them far less. Interrupting any time I had to play to make me fill out these appeals to deal with a false ban.

He had already been thinking of going to sleep, so deciding to ban someone before he put his head down is just... I don't know, you shouldn't be making decisions when you're dead tired and not looking at the situation at hand.

  5.

Just tell me this, is there anything specific you want to report, or just other Dreadweaver's comments that are the continuation of what was quoted above?

just the general discourse, there were other comments he made about it after round end and at the start of the next round. I simply believe that he was angry because he was a person that the security looked into, and he decided to make uncalled for comments, then was generally passive aggressive. That's what this complaint is supposed to be about.

  6.

He said more than just that, he continued talking at the round reset and at the start of the next lobby screen before he had to leave to his bus.

You now that I notice it, have the names of other people who were there that may be able to give you further information about everything that was being said. Since Icy snipped a very specific portion of the ooc conversation there.

  7.

Admittedly I seem to be rubbed the wrongway by dread.

But he was going into using OOC chat to complain about the securities behavior. Which is what I Find uncalled for. Yes, I was the chaplain, I don't deny that.

but this problem isn't about how he plays, or his in character playstyle, or even what transpired all of that round. I never really had any problem with any of that happening out of characterly.

My point was, there was no point in pointing out to everyone on the station that security is 'shit security' over ooc chat, especially if you're an admin! Then ranting on for five minutes straight over all ooc chat for from before the shuttle even arrived to post round. It's less like he approached the situation with 'lets remind that the captains word is law' and more 'oh god I've been arrested for crimes that people are saying I committed'. For an admin to start berating security and accusing the whole team of being shitsecurity is uncalled for when most of them joined late to the old hos having committed suicide, and it being a cultist round with a large number of people refusing to be subjected to the drink holy water cultist screening. Entirely uncalled for for an admin to up and insult the security staff over ooc chat.

Hell, we even had a full thing where security invited people up for a continued screening. Simply because you know when all the cultists have been caught and deconverted doesn't mean sec does.

And 'going for valid killz?' you mean security cuffing people and asking for the chaplain to come immediately to adminster holy water? Totally killing them, yep. holy water is totally lethal.

  8.

This time, it's less there was a problem, and more the behavior of the admin is getting stupid.

    ADMINKEY: DREADWEAVER

    GAMETYPE: Cultist

The main issue with the round in question on the morning of 7/12/2015, came down to a matter of the captain repeatedly lowering the alert to the lowest possible, while there seemed to be greytide murder going on in the locker room. Then bulma steals the chaplains flask for going around and making sure no one else is a cultist at the request of security. All the while security is pushing for the captain to be removed and is setting up an escape checkpoint to search for possible cultists.

Meanwhile bulma as well as some slime person at the time steals the bible, flask, nullrod, and security issued tazer from the chaplain. All while in the middle of that bulma is selling drugs in the bar. Leading the chaplain to beleive heavily both are cultists, as this is also illegal behavior. Then for some reason complete hell breaks loose as security sees bulma enter the escape point and try to arrest her for the selling of drugs, admitted theft of the chaplains personnel anti-cult belongings and flushing them down a disposal where they got picked dry or were taken from already. This leads to dread weaver whining over ooc chat that security is shit and ignoring the SOP as beepsky is destroyed in the escape lobby by rioters, alongside other security that's being disarmed and beaten with their own stunbattons. Meanwhile the captain nil stands there after having buckle cuffed the complaining chaplain as his security force is beaten to death around him, and he starts freeing the people who they arrested, bulma included, who continue to cause chaos untill the shuttle arives.

This complaint isn't about the ridiculous behavior of the character bulma, but about how dreadweaver whined about SOP when the captain refused to raise the alert status and continued to drop it. The same while he was saying how the last cultist died out an hour ago, despite collntinued criminal activity from the people during the shift. All of which the security continued at first to point out to the captain and AI they can't do anything under the current alert status about the thefts. So they decide to ignore the security status as the captain was not raising it and keeping it from being raised. To that extent dreadweaver behaved un-adminly and whined and complained about how it was a shitsecuirty round, and how when he commits crimes they should be ignored, even if he commits them in front of security personnel, all because the 'SOP isn't high enough for you to arrest and search me!'

    THE SHORT AND SWEET:

Dreadweaver got bitchy because he got arrested, and started lording his red text over the chat acting like security was breaking the rules by acting against the captian's poor judgment of degrading all the way to the lowest status, then justified it with, 'and the last cultist died out a while ago' despite continue suspicious behavior. So he spent his time whining about SOP over OOC chat, simply because he got arrested for breaking the law. Ontop of that one of the admins was playing loud and extremely obnoxious midis that I had to turn off, this is easily remedied by switching off the midis. But this behavior in general is out of hand for an admin.

    TO SUM IT UP!

    Admin Key:DreadWeaver

    Complaint:

The AI, who ever it was, Byond key: Flipping out, decided, instead of contacting a head of staff, it would contact bulma, Dread waver's character. And proceeded to allow bulma in where ever bulma wanted to go, and started only accepting orders from bulma. mean while ignoring all command staff and captains orders, even sealed us away in the bridge after I gave myself captian rank acsess to try to reset the AI's lawset. I had at the time thought the AI was subverted, and after having gotten my ID stolen was in not too chipper of a mood. So Then after the AI proceeded to piss with all of us it helped give bulma captain rank. All the while hindering the real command staff as much as possible, even under order's from bulma.

Then Kluys gets on, finally an admin to see my player complaints, which had become large in valume at this point from how just utterly stupid everyone was being. Then proceeded to say 'don't whine' and stop whining. Naturally I Am insulted that someone who gets on last second, would tell the person who's filing the complaints to stop whining, instead of actually trying to work the fucking situation out.

  10.

    You get the idea,

They would come in a pack of 3. armed with their own little ship that gets them too and fro in the same fashion as the Vox skipjack. They should have acsess to stealth cloak, hunting spear, biomask that acts as a universal translator, as well as a oxygen supply that never runs out not to be more broken but it should also have the option to activate thermal vision. Armor that acts somewhat as a hardsuit. A plasma pistol or advanced energy laser. an E-net for capturing prey. Wrist blades that pretty much act as claw attack for when they are disarmed. For the sake of sneaky insertions into the ship they may need some form of E-mag like device. Any additional gear could be things the admins decide to leave in their ship for the predators to select from.

They should be able to heal slowly on their own, but leave glowing green blood if injured to the point of bleeding. Making them somewhat easy to track untill they heal up. Their main focus should be collecting the heads of worthy adversaries, and would have an ability to rip an enemies head off after having critically wounded or killed them. Preforming a ROAR in the process as they do so, to mark their victory over a quarrel.

Yuatja Predator64.png hunt dangerous targets, and worthy adversaries. The grand apex of a worthy adversary on the most dangerous station in the known galaxy, Is the dreaded Xenomorph. Yuatja should have a high chance to be selected during Xenomorph rounds. And the three people who select to join in will be grouped into the hunting Pack the predators commonly use. Given short one word names that sum up a nickname that would be given to them by humans, such as wolf, dark, scar, hunter, Falconer, things in that fashion.

Predator players, who are in the hunt should be discouraged, or refrain from attacking individuals who pose no threat or medical personnel. Due to the fact that Security, some Scientists, and command staff tend to be more formidable targets than a doctor or nurse. This should also discourage them from going after people who are in a state of delusion already, either from being drunk or mindbreaker. As the predators believe in an honorable hunt, they should do their best to go undetected, and collect their trophies. Being the kind they are they will often shy away from indirect killings of the opponent and refrain from finish off injured that they didn't fight in the first place. But collecting trophies is no excuse to murderbone.

Hm I had more, but I'm hoping I'm not missing anything.

I hope to see you all in the hunt very soon. Also give feed back!

  11. so it went from starting with - hey lets put vox in, to- hey if we put vox in we can have constant situational support, since vox need nitro they can never be poisoned from the air, well unless their lose their mask, and despite it being rare not everyone is going to jump on the vox boat the second it opens up, if they do it'd be a laugh or two

  12.

If that' the general consensus. but then again -who- ISN'T a thief xD

After all isn't nano-trans al about promoting a labor force and upright individuals from down troughten societies? In theory it would be possibel that nanotransen would allow a handful of vox, the rascism against them would merely be another thing to rp. On one station there is an open vox race, and there are interesting racial conflicts, it gets funny when the raiders show up, because we see the splintering of the vox. After all there are plenty of nomadic vox families(civis), just as many as there are pirates.... also with the racial diversity of the vox the station could in theory support it's own grove, even if it is a small atrium.

I know I'm being a bit stubborn, but it would bring abit more racial tension to the roleplay, especially if things start to turn up missing!

  13.

Now hear me out, Vox are a fine race to play, but there needs to be nitrogen somewhere on station for them to get to, ike a few tanks and tank refillers.

Now having these, and one nitrogen tank and vox mask spawn in with a vox player, and what ever other starting gear, makes it so a vox is a playable option, on other servers I carry two nitrogen tanks and never run out through most of the game
