Hmm, that's a very odd download/upload ratio there. Is steam/bittorrent/etc doing anything else in the background? That's a very slow download speed, yet quite a high upload speed from what I'm used to. I'm on 5/1.5 and having no real lag problems currently!

Restarted my router, computer, and byond which seemed to have made the game playable with the download speed going up, thanks for the showing the problem!

Still a little stuttering for now in more filled areas but should just be byond.

    Hello!

Could you answer a number of questions?

1)What version of byond are you running, Stable or Beta?

    2) Do you know the version number? (It is OK if you don't)

    3) What type of internet connection do you have?  (Post a screenshot from http://www.speedtest.net/  You should redact the IP to not give away your IP address)

    4)  Do you use wireless in your home?  Can you try a wired connection?

    5) Have you tried clearing the byond cache?

    1) Beta currently

    2) Version 512.1438

    3) 7ffa7d70fc5bd82ab85ab9c129b76ca8.png

    4) Wireless. Don't think I can set up a wired / don't know how?

    5. Cleared the cache, lag still remains.

  3. Recently I've had the problem with severe lag on the game which has caused extreme annoyance. I tested the latest byond beta and stable version and still have the same results of lagging, making the game near unplayable for me. It's an obvious byond issue as other servers I went to cause the same lag. Is there any real fix for this or suggestions? Does this only occur on windows 10 users which I use also? Don't know if this only happens for me or anyone else either.

This occurred two days ago all of a sudden, never had an issue like this before.

  4. If it's "accidental" by means a cyborgification contract was not written, signed, and stamped for approval even if verbally then I would personally charge it with manslaughter on a security case. Either way, you would be given a sentence of perma confinement or exile.

Using an MMI, a person technically is killed for the operation and when borgified is a blank slate to follow orders of the station and its laws. This does bring severe consequence to the victim in that they are removed of their free choice and will if the borgification was accidental and not in clear consent of the victim which would be a signed contract.

  5. For scripts,

how do you change the job name displayed in telecomms and have certain words lead to others?

For example, saying "AI" s will display, color, and bold the AI's name like "Red Fox" instead. For another, "HOP" can be title-changed over the radio to "Salt of Paperwork" and also be word-changed to the first example.

Where exactly do you edit this in your script?

  6. Both are great games and are cherished in my memories but New Vegas does take the spotlight a tad bit even after my second and third playthrough of it (I hated the game at first when it released but grew to love it).

Fallout 3 to me though just holds a better environment and tone overall with the crumbled cities and dark nature of Super mutants and the conquest of the enclave. The "Western" tone of NV with its deserts and more deserts just doesn't do it for me against Washington.

Overall NV is better but both games are really great.

  7. Hey guys, glad to be here in the niche Spess Man game in Paradise Station. I think I got a pretty bad addiction from this game like the World Health Organization characterized but eyy, is good game. I mostly play as Albert Attenburg, your typical human mongloid who's straight to the point and wants to get in and out with a paycheck in hand as quick as possible. Currently playing as an A.I. role name S.H.O.D.A.N. and waiting to get those Karma reward species but it'll probably take years. I used to roleplay within CM and HL2RP especially for a couple of years and now I'm here. Nothing much else to say other than this is a great game, cool community, and a fun time in general.
