Essentially an idea for a new game mode. Have a one or two antags of each ic race set with the goal of embroiling their specific ic race to eliminate the others or a specific one on the station. A couple of ideas for how to spread it could be a proximity-based thing where if a player is a certain amount of tiles away from a player fighting a player of a different race he gets an ic prompt that he feels an uncontrollable urge to help the player of his race. Or just make it have the same mechanics as a rev rounds where that antag has a flash and if he uses it on other players of the ic race they join but on others it just functions as a normal flash. Could even have certain players who would be forced to play as peacekeepers and their goal was to keep the peace. Players would scramble to gain control of their department from the other groups in it work with other allied departments to attain total domination. There could be a number of justifications for the antag like nonhumans being upset at humans rapid expansion or humans being members of the "old guard" looking to preserve human supremacy as the wiki describes them. I think this would at the very least add something new to spice up the game and even not as a game mode maybe as a midround thing to add instead of the mid-round terror spider or blob rounds that happen when a round lasts more than an hour. Now I know most players don't really play racist characters IC but I think it would be a relatively good chance to RP differently for a lot of players and put something fresh into the server. That said I can see how this could burn down really quickly and just dissipate into a lot of server rules being broken. Adding to that I do not have a good idea for how this would play out for low player count races like drask or kidan. Would love to hear your thoughts on this!

Oh should clarify. Admin originally bwoinked me for sending the ai the bee movie script over pda messages. As an antag I thought this was a great way to make the ai incapable of doing anything due to the flood of pure unbridled script it was getting. Admin told me to stop. I told him I would. Did not take screenshots of that interaction. So you'll need to pull logs for that one if you want to

Nature of complaint: Clarification required, misapplication of rules.
Brief description: admin forced me to change my in character name claiming it is not a real name.
Full description of events: My in character name is Cable King. Admin Boinked me about my name as seen here.
I asked him how my name was a violation of the rules. He proceeded to tell me that it was not a real name as seen here.
I proceeded to tell him that Cable King was my name and that there is literally a player with the name with name Kolton King also playing on the server to which he told me that there will be no discussion on.
Now if I was playing with a character name that was obviously a meme I would get it. Which I told him as much.
He then force changed my name
I told him I would not as my IC name is perfectly appropriate for the setting. However he then threatened me with "consequences"
I informed him he would be getting a complaint and thus brings us to here. SS13 is a roleplaying game set in the far flung future. First and foremost Cable King is not even an unrealistic name for todays day and age. In fact Cable is an actual name which originates from France. King is a real surname as well. Hell, according to wikipedia there are 327 people with the name abdce in the united states. How is cable in anyway unrealistic? I just want to have a good time roleplaying and Cable King is the character I play. I left yogstation because of shitty admins and came to paradise. But this is by far the most ridiculous admin bwoink I've ever gotten. Hell that very round I was playing There was a character with the name of "Honeycomb" how is that more realistic then what I have? I have played for well over 50 hours on the server and have interacted with a few different admins (mostly due too my own overzealous actions and a few too many shots) but not once have I received any complaint about my name. It is unfortunate that you feel like a name like the name cable king hurts your rp. Given the setting of the game how can you decide what is a name and what isn't baring a blatantly obvious meme name? Names far stranger then my characters crop up in sci-fi settings all the time. Anyway, I believe this too be absolutely ridiculous and would like some other admin to weigh in and an explanation as too how my name is "not a real name". Thank you in advance for your time.

Would be another route for traitors to acquire gear without needing an emag. Could have a shit ton of dud wires and a wire that locks it permanently to make it a bit harder. Of course on the other hand cargo could fuel a great greytide like that.
I dont know. I think its a cool idea. Cant imagine it would be that hard to code in as the code for hacking is already there.
