  1. Hello.

    Been playing on this server for a couple of months now. Rarely do I post on discord or here, but I play a good amount. I play mainly as Shao Hao and Atticus Wilde, but I have played as a handful of other characters as well. I've been learning everything but SEC and Science. Dunno why. And the only head I play as is HoP. One day I hope to AI like a pro. I've met a lot of you already in game and some of y'all are fukkin' cool.

  2. Just going to list a bunch of things that I've thought of in the past, and continue to post them here. 

    --- STATION GOAL EVENTS ---

    Name of Event: Departmental Overdrive

    One Sentence Description: One department needs to expand to the whole station as deemed by CentComm.

    Map Changes or Code Changes: No

    Suggested Number of Players: High Pop

    Full Description of Event: A recent message from CC has deemed (Cargo, Engineering, The Bar, Botany, Science, Medical, Security clownohno; CentComm PICKS ONE) the station as no longer a mixed employment workplace. The Cyberiad has been re-allocated as a Cargo Station / Engineering Station ... ect and must comply the entire station to one form of work. By the end of the shift only the department decided must remain, and structure and infrastructure must exist predominantly across the station. You will be judged.

     

    Name of Event: Greentide

    One Sentence Description: The Cyberiad is far too metallic. Recent decisions by CC have decided that all stations must comply with 75% green station. (grass tiles, wood, renewable resources). 

    Map Changes or Code Changes: No

    Suggested Number of Players: Any

    Full Description of Event: Players are encouraged to turn the station into greenery. The more it looks like a forest, or just is built out of renewables, the better. This event may somewhat clash with Botany's Departmental Overdrive as listed above.

     

    --- ANTAG EVENTS  ---

    Name of Event: Syndication

    One Sentence Description: The Cyberiad is taken over by Syndicates! Oh no! This time, the station must comply.

    Map Changes or Code Changes: No

    Suggested Number of Players: Low to Med (High Pop may be hard?)

    Full Description of Event: A team of Syndicate operatives are dispatched to the station with the intent just to kill the heads of staff and replace them, moving the station outside of NT space and relinquishing it of NT and CC control. Anyone who does not follow their new leaders, could be sentenced to death, but is advised against as this would be detriment to the acquisition of funds by Syndicate as a whole. A winning condition would be an overwritten AI with new Syndicate based laws, all heads replaced by a Syndicate operative, and forcing the crew to comply with new Syndicate demands.

     

    Name of Event: Rebellion

    One Sentence Description: Much like the above, this would be just the crew itself rebelling against CC and NT. This mode is much like the current WAR mode with winning conditions.

    Map Changes or Code Changes: No

    Suggested Number of Players: Any

    Full Description of Event: I feel that the current WAR game mode seems to be too far from the mark. Its a ton of people dying, and few who make it out alive just get on the shuttle and hope it doesn't get rekt. In this game mode, the station stands a fighting chance from the 3-5 waves that CC and NT will throw at them. The waves get progressively harder and there is a bit of downtime between waves to resurrect players, re-gear, redefense, and stand a chance. First wave will generally be without lethals allowing Cyberiad to show "who's boss". (This also allows hostage situations with CC and NT operatives which leads to more RP and fun). Later waves will be progressively more lethal with the final wave being WHOA HARD. The winning condition of the station is to survive all waves and be able to pick up the station as it remains. Calling a shuttle would admit defeat, and relinquish the station back to CC and NT. (Dying in the process once the shuttle docks.)

    01/25/18 - First Draft - As of right now this is a very early list with just a couple of things. Some of it is duplication or change from current events, and some feel new to me. Just wanted to get these ideas out there. If they actually get used, wow, but uh. Yeah. Here it is.
