    this needs people to want to do those, there is stuff to do but people need an INCENTIVE to do stuff like blackjack and $$$$$$$, on other servers like it was said this bridge hobo phenomenon does not really exist, so its a playerbase issue, I also see some people afk in chemistry, science, other places just because their friend is playing a job there, but the conversation has been derailed again and again, idk anymore so

    Assistants as I see them are fine, I wish we could rename them, some jobs like chef have other job names they can choose on character setup, we can just install that feature for assistant and integrate some basic rp friendly names to jumpstart it, also most assistants with a gimmick will usually go to hop for a job rename get denied and break into hop office to change it anyway

    I appreciate the PR but I do not think it should wake yo up faster, I think it should be a meme way to wake someone up like 0.9 slower than help intent or the same speed

    The first thing when I go uncouncious shouldn't be please slap me because all the other players out there using help intent would be deemed "inferior" for not using "the meta"

  3. Well lets compare how we heal people on the different codebases then.


    when someone comes in with brute or burn you just use a mender then throw it away once empty(because you do not know to how fill it with synthflesh no doubt) or if you are busy stick them in a cryotube(which you did not set to the lowest temp no doubt) our ways to heal brute and damage are limited mostly topically for balance reasons probably


    Our rounds last around 2 hours while on cm they last 4 hours, our medical system is more "fast" and "easy" because when someone gets in medbay you are probably going to deal with the same case of IB, sometimes a fracture but its always the same shit scalpel hemo retractor fixovein cautery, variety is the spice of medbay(the guy who said that was fired for breaching the SOP)

    Why is paramedic not used to his full capacity?
    lets start with another question so we get on the same wavelength
    Right now what is the paramedic job?
    Stabilize patients and get them to medbay
    Who does their job?
    crewmembers pulling people to medbay spilling all their blood.

    How other servers handled it?
    well tg for example gave everyone a fireman grab but that is cringe
    meanwhile other codebases made it so if you pull someone who is not in a locker, bodybag, stretcher beds, will hurt them and worsen their injuries, it is very simple, if they are pulled or grabbed a big red text is shown in the right part of the screen and you also hear some sort of ripping sounds,

    In the current state like I said, there is no need to have paramedics if crewmembers are more than willing to do medbay's job themselves, I cannot recall any meaningful interaction with a paramedic.
    Paramedics encourage medbay personnel to stay glued to medbay making it hard for antags with a target in medical to do something that doesnt involve a genocide or a bombing, if lets say we merged paramedic with MD this could give an excuse for doctors to stop turtling in medbay, and gives the antag another chance of luring away their target but thats another can of worms.
