  1. I think it's time for me to give feedback on this: It's a really good strategy to cause chaos. Security will have a hard time catching you if everybody is you. I don't think we should nerf a perfectly valid and balanced strategy ( It's the most expensive changeling ability ) just for roleplaying purposes. Not like it matters anyways, it's too late: It already got nerfed to be basically useless ( Takes 8 seconds and people get warned when they're being transformed. Like it wasn't already obvious enough ). It isn't, in any way, worth 3 DNA points and 40 Chemicals. So why transform people when I can just kill them instead?

  2. I personally don't see the point of this. Why not just be an engineer instead of an engineering assistant? And why would you make the Civilian role basically unplayable by removing its access to maintenance?

    You can just use a randomized name and character. And if you don't, it's just your fault if people meta that.

    4. Most people dont even provide karama during the round and if they do its normally to there friends.

     

    So I suggest a change to the current karma system. 

    1. Add rules to the current karma system meaning you cant give it for certain reasons (For example power gamers)

    2. Remove certain karma roles/races which are not being used and decrease some of the prices (For example IPC) 

    3. Add a reason to why you have karma to that player 

    4. Force players at round end to provide karma to a player they believe is worthy 

    Well, some people can RP and powergame at the same time. But still.

    1. No. This is a MRP server, and you don't need to be rewarded for HRP.

    2. Sure, but allow people who already spent their karma on those roles/races to refund them.

    3. That's fine too.

    4. If it was forced, I'd just give karma to a random person, probably. I just forget to give people karma midround.

    Nope, that's downright broken.

    So they can just carry a bluespace power cell for almost infinite healing?

    Even if they are just "very slightly faster", it actually matters.

    "Breathe oxygen, but perform better with more present O2"

    Perform better how?

    "Alien, energy-based blood can shock nearby people and cannot be transfused; must regenerate by being exposed to high energy levels"

    That's arguably a disadvantage.

    "Use a lot of energy; must be constantly managed"

    APCs are almost everywhere, so that's not too much of a disadvantage.

    "High energy will regenerate health slowly"

    That contradicts "Rapid regeneration of brute and burn damage when at high energy".

    "EMP damage, shock damage, radiation, and tasers will add energy and can hold a Qi’ over their limit; this stuns them and can kill"

    Those damage sources can also heal them.

    "Immune to all chemicals except for acids"

    "Cannot regenerate from toxin and oxyloss damage by energizing"

    So how are they supposed to regenerate toxin and oxyloss damage?

    I really disagree with that. People should be able to award karma for whatever reasons they want, not just for roleplaying. Also, it's your own choice to RP instead of being robust.
