[Complaint about names/Flavortext abuse.]

Its rather upsetting how nitpicky this feels. My name isnt "LOL SNEK MEME HEHE XD" And noones having an issue on it, if it was reported by a player i'd understand, if it was affecting anyone negatively, i'd understand. But this was simply an admin saying "Rules changed recently, so you cant do that" Which is why i reported it as abuse, it feels more like a display of power, rather than trying to keep a healthy game environment.

PM from-Trial AdminSpacemanspark: Sorry, was handling other things. As to your question; you can ask a higher up or stick with the forum post you have up currently. And yes, it quite clearly appears to be a meme. You capitalized the "Snek" part, which is pretty clear that you meant to sort of "broadcast" that part of the name, so to speak.

PM to-Spacemanspark: I'll stick with the form post as is then, and have the other "s" lowercased. I believe the forms should have a place for names to be approved or denied.

I was informed by admin Spacemanspark That my flavortext/name was a reference to a meme.

My flavortext was understandable, because it was simply "owo, whats this" Obviously being a meme reference, which i was fine with changing. seeing as the rules where changed recently.

My issue is with my name. My character is a Unathi, And their name is Athena Slithersnek. People havent had an issue, and, infact, i've only ever recived complements on it.

It is not: A nonfictional name thats famous (Athena could be the greek goddess, but i in no way act godly) It is not the name of a murderer or a dictator.

It is: My unique name for my unique character. Halarity insues when i introduce myself, having to double down on every "s" typed in my name. And its unique enough to be easily identifiable in a crowed.

I understand that there was probably no i'll intent, but im very proud of the name i've created for myself. Yes, there is a "snek meme" But in no way is the last name "Slithersnek" Supposed to, in any way, convey that. Its just a name i thought would be creative and unique to have for a lizard person.
