I would like this looked into please, I know admin complaints never go anywhere because the admins all back each other up (obviously), but I would at least like it looked into

First and foremost I will post say this is absolutely not true. I have demoted an admin due to complaints and 3 others have also previously been demoted for their actions being brought up.

Hey,

 

I was playing as a cultist and I thought it would be good RP to go against the cult and tell people on the station and help them out. I realized it was wrong when people started taking LOOC and I was very upset that people were getting upset by what I was doing. I thought that it was just good RP and I would never have done anything to annoy or upset people. I got contacted by Twinmold and I told him the whole story. I admitted that I was wrong and I looked up the exact rule that I broke for him. I said very calmly and politely how sorry I was, I said that I was upset that I had caused so much disruption. I said I am very sorry and I really didn't mean to do anything wrong and I was very sorry.

 

I typed a long message, saying how sorry I was and I really didn't mean to do anything wrong, I thought that would be the best thing to do ink this situation, I didn't mean to do anythign wrong and I was very sorry. I got a reply which was basically just ignoring that I had said I was sorry and I didn't mean to do anything wrong and I was treated very much like someone who was out to troll and cause trouble, that was not what I was out to do, I was out to play the game and not in any way meaning to do anything wrong, but the admin basically treated me like a troll. I then got a PERMANENT ban

Thanks for taking the time to write a detailed answer this all makes sense tbh, I very much understand. It is usually just something where the admins can see they didn't abuse their power, but if they really did at some point then this is the way of catching them.

Lo, I have been looking at all the admin complaints and I have been thinking what the point is of having them. I will explain I have seen the majority of them just turning into immature arguments (yes, from the admins side too) a and it ends up getting locked. A lot of the time it is people being salty after a ban and that's the truth and there is an unban section where they should go, that is all that's needed no need for a massive argument against staff as they will won regardless if they did do something wrong.

 

Lets say they found that an admin did something wrong for arguments sake, why is it that when an admin made a mistake they need to get punished? We all make mistakes and it is very wrong to just insta ban a player or demote an admin, unless it is obvious it was done intentionally to cause upset.

 

Tldr; the report an admin section causes arguments from admins and banned players. Admins wouldn't tell us If they did do something wrong, there's a unban appeal section so no need for report an admin

You can be as coprolaliac as you like ICly at pretty much any time, just don't expect to be respected if you spam all caps SHIT CUNTMCFUCK DAMN HELL CUCK over every little problem. And there are -certain- words that are forbidden, mainly racist or overly-suggestive words that have no place onboard a space station, don't be calling the officer a certain racist word or say that he's raping you.

My character is an asshole and likes to swear a lot of the time. He is quite rude and offensive as well. I am writing this purely to say that I, myself am nothing like him at all, we are complete opposites. If someone arrests my character, is he allowed to shout things such as 'Fuck you, wankshit' and stuff like that? Are they allowed to swear IC for no reason other than they are in a bad mood?

 

I would never swear in any OOC channel , I would never be rude or offensive. My character, however, I cannot guarantee the same.

I have lost count of how many times I have been 'slipped' over and over by the clown when I have been rushing to help out in an important situation. The worst thing is when the clwn moves you and the slippy item together at the same time, leading to the 'endless slip of doom'. I think this should somehow be nerfed
