Raider rounds definitely did have a high concentration of the clique problems. A specific round pops into my mind, during which -every- cell in the brig had a Vox prisoner in it. This was due to the (Vox) crew helping the raiders. It was pretty horrible, altough hilarious in its own way.
On the other hand during last april fool's 2015 build event, i experienced one of the best rounds i've played. And, it was a raider round. A Vox raider group, made out of a few older and a few newer players, made the round a blast.
There's no official guide on how to behave as a Vox, it comes mostly from seeing how it has been done.
It's difficult to find that balance between cheeky and overly disruptive. But, good example from more experienced players is what makes a difference.

If you cannot do remember the stuff you forgot and can't unlock your account. We can give you the ban reason and you can appeal the ban. It can be lifted from your old, banned account.

The people speaking most in the recording (Heads, CM's) introduce themselves in the start of the recording along with introducing the rest of the admin team some of which i also believe introduced themselves. Alffd is also the one who's the one explaining stuff about our server hardware and things of that nature.

The name/nickname Zed has been around for a long time. That means there is a very good chance it is not a LoL reference. And if it'd be accompanied with either a first name or a surname, i'd see it being appropriate and within the rules.
What comes to your character name of Michael Trotsky. I can see where the name change comes from. Though, if your behaviour in-game was nothing resembling actual Trotsky or did not contain any memes/references, I might disagree with the ruling made. I however do not know the background to this decision. You can request the name to be approved.
This post also seems like something that'd be a player complaint/admin complaint. And because of this, I am locking the thread. You are free to take up the issue in the ways I mentioned.
