  1. A loadout for wizards that emphasizes using technology, learning to directly manipulate it and using it to facilitate other magicks. Geared largely towards more stealthy gameplay.

    • Direct spells would be limited and all relate to technology. Disable Technology, Lesser Summon Guns, maybe even a ranged emag spell.
    • The loadout would also come with a PDA, accompanied by a program cartridge (or multiple!) allowing for the invocation of other magical effects. Using one of these programs would temporarily spawn a rune around the wizard, so they would have to use it in secret if they want to be careful.
      • Curse people in a mechanic similar to how viruses such as the PDA bomb work currently, with victims being blinded, made deaf, or other debilitating effects.
      • Open dimensional rifts in certain locations from a specified list as the current scroll of teleportation works, spawning in hellhounds, skeletons, and other Bluespace creatures.
    • Being able to interact with station machinery with other abilities, such as teleporting through computers or using the cameras to view the station like the AI.
  2. I was recently told by a nonbinary member of the community that apparently it's a huge pain to play enby characters of most races because there's not really an option for such at character creation, and in order to have something closer to that option they need to spend a lot of time trying to get access to the genetics department. This seems like something that should just be a gender option by default.

  3. So I want to rename my diona, Morels Blooming In On An Asteroid In The Astral Sea. So far I have

Morels Blooming In The Depths Of The Astral Sea

Morels Blooming On A Comet In The Astral Sea

Morels Blooming On A Ship Adrift In The Astral Sea

I'm currently leaning on the first one, as the center nouns in the latter two don't feel right. Other suggestions would be nice too.

Brief description (tl;dr here. Just the critical elements): I feel discouraged from playing a particular character after being told I can't speak in all caps.

Full description of events: I'm sorry I don't have the relevant information, this happened a few weeks ago and I was only encouraged to post a complaint now. I used to play a borg called Soy Bot who's whole gimmick was that they'd go around asking people if they wanted soy milk. From what I've been told people generally found it funny, so I enjoyed it even though the character was by intention simplistic. I also did their dialogue in all caps, as I felt it was fitting for general harmlessly annoying nature of the character. I was PMed by an admin asking me to stop talking in all caps, as it may confuse players thinking I am saying something serious. I had been told this was said after deliberation between multiple admins. I had been told this after having played this character like this for more than a month at this point. Since then I have felt generally discouraged from playing this character. Recently I was told by other players that they never found the speaking in all caps to be an issue, and that not speaking like that removed from the character, as well as that it was common for other synthetic characters to speak similarly, With this in mind, I want to ask to clarify whether this is such an issue, and if possible I may continue speaking in all caps with this character, as not being able to do so kind of ruined them for me, even if it is relatively minor.
