[Character Name Request - Twenty One]

Bumping as it has been three weeks. Wondering if there's been any progress made, or if there's something that's being looked for. Willing to turn this into an open dialogue to make some headway into this request.

Is this a Mime or Clown Job Name? No, but Twenty One is definitely not Captain material yet.

Reason/Backstory: Twenty One is the first clone of Subject Twenty Prime, where clones are named after the subject they were cloned of and what number clone they were (Subject Twenty, Clone One). Twenty One was experimented on by scientists attempting to create more efficient and powerful artificial organs, hence all of the cybernetic organs in her body.

Twenty One is played and speaks more like a child than an adult due to her living in isolated experimentation tubes where she is heavily sedated and kept under while cybernetic organs were being replaced/modified/etc impeding her opportunity to learn. What she does learn, is mainly through the other test subjects and clones.

One day, the laboratory in which Twenty One and the other subjects lived was blown up in an attack. One of the lead researchers traded their research to Nanotrasen in return for keeping whatever subjects that survived alive. Twenty One is the sole survivor and no other subjects were alive when Twenty One was found.

Currently, Twenty One is looking to acclimatise herself to the station and find her place/role. Her goals are to find the other subjects, keep herself alive, and to sate her curiosity and to learn more. She currently doesn’t fully understand death, but is learning through talks with the Chaplains and her unsuccessful endeavours in finding Subject Twenty Prime.

One of the quirks of Twenty One is her belief that blood alone can sustains her. This trait was acquired in the traumatic hours spent under the rubble of her former laboratory, surrounded by her dead companions, and Twenty Prime. The dying Twenty Prime would go to offer Twenty One her blood to sate her thirst. Combined with her lacking cognizance of time, Twenty One would go to believe she had spent days under the rubble before being found, subsisting only on blood.

Twenty One aspires to be like Twenty Prime. She wishes to become knowledgeable about all the things outside of the laboratory, and see and learn of the things Twenty Prime had spoken of. In this way, Twenty One is curious, and very inquisitive. Looking towards the future of the character, I see Twenty One as eventually maturing and being a more useful member of the crew. At this point in time, while waiting for another shift on the station, Twenty One is looking to learn more about Hydroponics after being given a Blood Tomato.

Some aspects of her character are intrinsically her, and as such won’t be touched or minimally changed, but Twenty One as a whole can and will change over the course of time. Innocence and a lack of knowledge only lasts for so long, and with Twenty One’s curiosity, she will most certainly change.

Note: There are more notes to the backstory, however they are not fully fleshed out. This character is not intended to be immersion breaking nor played simply for slapstick comedy. Twenty One does Twenty One things.
