NanoTransen sensors and ships have picked up emissions equivalent to a fully operational, powered space station. Records are scarce about how it was put into the system, though it seems to be a 'off-the-shelf' variant. Observations from thereof have shown sparse and random visitation by smaller craft, some supposed Syndicate, including one which was later intercepted and known to have dropped off a 'safe' at the satellite, though it was not conclusively tied to the Syndicate. It is presumed to be some sort of listening outpost, however no active emissions or intrusions to the NanoTransen network has been detected and thus it is not seen as an active threat by NanoTransen.
Relative to this station, using cardinal directions, to the 'south' there is a crashed shuttle, to the 'south-east' a abandoned, destroyed station popularly known as the 'derelict', and to the 'south-south-east' there's another abandoned, smaller space station which has the tell-tale emissions of having had a teleporter.
