Nature of complaint: Got banned over a ticket I opened because of a suspicious promotion to HOS.  Reason of the ban by the admin follows :Reason: Metagrudging alongside getting really, really uppity when someone didn't agree with him. Has been harassing a player ever since a single issue, making reddit posts and the like. Feel free to make one about me, please take a break and appeal this down the line when you're more level headed.

I have prints of what happened during the round, but to sum it up:

 

A player that was playing during the shift was Security Pod Pilot arrested someone that murdered Ian the dog at the bridge. The Pod pilot ruled the case wrongly with only battery and resisting arrest. I was the IAA and questioned the arrest, asking why there was no major tresspass or at least tresspass due to the last location, which was the brig. AI backed my claims along with the Magistrate, even stating that 4 witnesses saw it, but despite that, the player refused to redo the ruling or even admit fault.
Afterwards, the HOS goes cryo. Captain asks the current warden if he wants to be promoted to HOS, which was refused. The Security Pod Pilot in question, asks to be appointed. The captain, knowing about all that happened on the case of the murder of his dog, promotes the Pilot to HOS. I opposte and state my reasoning, having again the backing of the AI but he is appointed reglardess. I contact the admin and not only he is rude, but also point out of the game reasons to treat me badly, which were a reddit post that according to him were offensive to the player that was the Security Pod Pilot, which is not the case.

I did questioned how the round was being treated and now I question the admin motives. Are we here to have fun and play accordingly, or are we here to do some sort of friends game that rules only matter when non mentors or non personal friends are involved?

The ban I took was absurd as I clearly stated I was gonna head out of the round and just let it pass by. I have all the prints.

To begin with as I was there for it;

1) You were entirely metagrudging a mentor over a ruling they did as the magistrate 2 weeks ago. And you are still metagrudging them from this day, such as this lovely reddit post.

The only person who reported them breaking into the bridge, was the AI. Security was not made aware of it until after they had already been charged for damage to station assets, resisting arrest and battery. You kicked up a fuss over information they weren't given and only provided to by the AI. You then lied to both the Magistrate and the HoS, by saying they never charged them for the damage to station assets, and when he became acting HoS as the arriving Warden didn't want it.. you kicked up a fuss again.

You went on a rant over an IC issue.. then you immediately started accusing the admin of dealing with it for metafriending, while you were metagrudging someone. Then said you were going to continue and tell others about it. You were told to calm down and drop the situation, an IC situation.. and ignored the admin.

Why would I harass someone that was actually at my side on the round? What I posted there were opinions about something and Im totally entitled to have them. Please, next time read the entire post. And in fact, I have a lot of respect to Matt and I think he is a good guy. I know he is a mentor and I played numerous times with him around and never had a problem. Those are my opinions about a role and how things are working from my point of view here in Paradise. Im entitled to that I guess. I really think the mentor role should be reviewed. How does that apply to metagruding when I have never stated that particular mentor was the problem, when again, he was the one that helped as magistrate as stated on the first part of the post?
About what you said that happened on the round, I have them printed on the admin complain thread. If you want, I can repost the prints here. Wasn't just the AI but other 4 people that saw that. It was an error and I pointed it as my duty playing IAA. I did disagree with the decision to promote Matt on that round because of poor performance and I contacted the admin but I thought it was odd. I sounded harsh but never was disrespectful. And I did took his advice, I told him I was gonna cryo but I was firm on stating that I was gonna complain about him because his decision was based on reddit post and I don't think that was a good call. That was all.
