  1. AI should be a threat to the antags. Antags should go out of their way to avoid cameras and AI, or if they can't they should go out of their way to kill or corrupt said AI. Which would give AI multiple things to do, ranging from hunting antags, to defending itself or working with them. Walking around with a gun or as a wanted man in open corridor, visiting departments at will should have it's consequence - police call by AI, possible bolting and such.
  2. Pretty much. There's far too little heals currently from healer. Their attacks are weak, they are melee, and they offer no other utilities. The melee holoparas don't move fast enough or do enough damage to be viable, and they have to stand and fight which makes it impossible to run with your owner away and if you dont run you get snapped back to the owner. Ranged holopara can just keep spraying shards at any pursuers while running away and pulling the owner while doing so, the shards do massive damage. The scout ability gives them decent utility etc etc. For 12 TC that dissapear when you're downed or killed once you don't get enough utility out of holoparas.

I think minor antag roles that allow people to rob, to break in and steal non major items, to form a gang in maints and extort, sell drugs and hell I’d even add murder would muddy waters enough to the point where sec actually has to do an investigation of some sort. As it stands - if someone breaks in somewhere, kills someone, kidnaps someone or even beats someone up, they’re an antag and all antags are to be permad if not killed on sight. Detective and magistrate rarely if ever get to do their jobs. Detectives experience consists of going where called using scanner and reading out print and dna then get ignored the rest of the round. It would also help deal with going to red ASAP and random searches ruining antags days. Someone got beaten up and murdered in maints. Time to investigate. Instead of go on red we got X threat. Time to call Gamma and ERT.
  4. The types are too similar a bit with what they need to achieve. Ranged is fine as is. merge melee into direct combat and stealth. Warrior and assassin basically. Warrior gets shields or deflection akin to Karp fu, ability to charge at someone and deals a lot of direct damage. Can also break down walls. Assassin can move trough walls and objects, is basically invisible, can attack from stealth/needs to be hit to be visible or maybe something else that uncovers it. Can also emag doors. Alternatively make it have greater autonomous range before it’s snapped back and unable to attack. Mind control holopara would be a fun addition. It can possess a character for a short time, say a minute, and the process is similar to mindswap by changeling where the char spazzes on the floor for a bit. It would allow you to move a target to a more secluded area, have them pull attack a colleague or just let you into a department. Can happen either with memory loss or without it depends on how they wanna balance it. Guardian/Healer that focuses on buffing and healing the user rather than straight up combat. Can grant it’s user an en energy shield mode, deflection from kinetics mode. Increased speed, meth effect, and maybe the wizards little magic wall that lasts a shorter time and doesn’t let the user pass trough it. Maybe also can absorb damage for user - all damage taken goes to holopara until it is dead and only then damages the user.
  5. That is factually incorrect. Just go read ban appeals section. Valid hunting is the easiest way to get pinged. Up until a few weeks ago I exclusively played sec and my experience has always been total shit when it comes to the way crew treats you and the antags. Even people murdered by antags and revived literally don’t say anything or report a thing about who murdered them. They just get cloned and get back to working or sitting in front of bridge. Be an observer and ghost 5 rounds with ghost huds on. Tell me crew ain’t helping antags way more than reporting them after observing that. AI has like 4 sets of laws that would allow it to ignore actions of antagonists. Everything else be it corporate, crewsimov, Paladin or whatever sets first or second priority as dealing with threats to station or profits.
  6. This is Medium RP server. From how I see it Crew and AI should report suspicious behavior. If you saw your coworker pulling a gun or fiddling with a bomb in company bathroom you'd not think about the fun they'd have but the danger they pose. As it is crew already generally ignores antags or actively aids them to a great degree and hassle security for no reason even when station is in mortal danger ranging from simple blocking to slipping, wetting the floors or being a nuisance and I've even seen crew spawn monkeys and throw them at xenomorphs as a ghost or voluntarily feeding a vampire. In the hours I played I have seen AI actively hunt antags twice. Not counting antags breaking into AI sat or upload. Playing as sec I have never gotten a single notice by AI of suspicious behavior, despite traitors commonly using PDA's and AI being able to raid those. It would really impact my RP negatively that AI is just allowing antags free reign of the station despite the bloodshed they are doing. A vampire playing sec for suckers should get shocked by AI. Don't want it? Don't be obvious and get some insuls.
