    One my most memorable fake marines rounds, got caught, and went to cryo. Admin Bryan then asked me if i'm up to more rolepay. Got to be Sol representative sent to investigate the marine issue with one man ert escort.

     

    Was traitor on Paradise, got a partner robobrain in humanized monkey, and dressed up as Sol Marines. We got caught and went to cryo. Afterwards Admin Bryan asked me if i'm in for some more RP. Got to be Sol Liason sent to investigate the incident, together with one man ERT escort.

    Sol Butter: "I am curious as to what were these fake marines doing with these identies?"

    Sol Butter: "Were they commiting crimes?"

    Hos Fiona: "They weren't doing anything in particular, just stolen valour"

    RD Park: "John Hammond was one of our scientist, and the only thing we know was that they had robot monkey"

    ERT Paulson: "Robot monkey, hmm?

    Sol Butter: "Robot monkey?"

    Hos Fiona: "Robot monkey would've been "Hines" then."

    RD Park: "Monkey with robotic brain"

    ERT Paulson: "What the hell are you people doing out here?"

    RD Park: "Research and devolpment"

    Hop Amira: "Science"

    ERT Paulson: " :h robot fucking monkeys, i oughta kick y-"

    Sol Butter: "Wait, you are saying monkey disguised as marine fooled you, at least momentarily?"

    Sol Butter: "How in the hells"

    Hos Fiona: "It had charmaleon gear"

    Sol Butter: "How did you mistake monkey in uniform as real marine?"

    Sol Butter: ":h Monkey disguised as marine, and they needed CC confirmation to tell it was fake?"

    Hos Fiona: "We only noticed when it jumped the intern"

    Sol Butter: "Jumped the..?"

    Sol Butter: ":h do these people think we recruit from jungle?"

    Nice post, as a person who also likes to go for roleplay gimmicks when rolling traitor, (Sol marines)i applaud the effort. I feel like gimmicks like these are great, because they add more to the round, than regular antag play. Normally usually only security is involved with antags, and most of the crew have little idea what is going on. Enter roleplay gimmicks, fake marines, fake Liasons etc. They involve more crew, due to not being something only security can deal with. It's fun to talk to people as Marine, or some other role, due to these roles being rare, and interesting. Crew likes to talk to these roles,  and when reals ones arrive, they often are far too busy to interact with the crew.

    It adds way more to the round, if it succeeds, it's really fun. I have very fond memories of being marine with my fake marine buddies, talking with the crew.

    In my experience, you have to get everything perfect, otherwise people will meta hell out of you. Sometimes, it feels like people take it as their holy mission to expose the fakes the moment they smell something wrong. That i feel, is bad. Becauce the potential for fun shenanigans is huge, and you being immediately stunned and cuffed and sent to perma for being dirty traitor is not fun for anyone. I hope people would not stop the fakes right away, even if they know that they are fake. Instead, go like "I know they are fake, but let's see what they are up to".

    Example from few days ago, i was doing fake marines with robobrain buddy, and we got off to good start. Had a good cover story, talking to people, Captain faxing CC, who replied that they don't know any being around, but there could be some in the system. We had fun, we had good roleplay, Private Baker was awesome, he was really eager in his marine RP. We were talking with the captain in conference room, adding to his round, when otherwise he would just sat in bridge hoping for something to happen. The officers who we talked, about marines, and such, we added to their round, and all the others who came to talk to us etc. We added to the round in a positive way, but then Magistrate got suspicious, and we were shut down, and i went to cryo. Which was a mistake, Norwest had prepared Marine MP squad to retrieve us from perma.

    I hope Magistrate could have waivered this, "Yeah, they are antags, but hey let's see what they are up to before we do anything"

    Point of the ramble is, if you see antags trying something different, and even if they don't get everything perfect, don't bust them. There is little reason to, antags add to the round.

    Local wolfgirl, and her sidekick Ruth, in a scene based on Mandalorian. Star wars is cool, i like star wars.

    Characters are from Cataclysm dda, created by amazing artist Pixiepoo, and i really like these two. That explains the wacky adventures across the stars these two embark in regular basis.

    I don't art, i pay great artists to make my ideas into art.

     I enjoy lot of Cataclysm dda, and characters tend to come from cdda.

    Chaplain had spider cult, and i joined in, and in luck we were, it was terror round. We had EN with radio working as mobile radio transmitter, and i kept saying cultish things over radio. Best part, it worked! Spiders didn't attack us, and played along with the cult.

    Oleg is definitely true neutral, he does his own thing regardless of circumstances. A force of neutrality.

    I'd say Kar-Ski is lawful good, along with Flufferton, have you ever seen those two doing crimes, or even greytiding.

    You cannot get more chaotic neutral than Tooben, he is like the bard who seduces the dragon, and when others ask how did he do it, he goes "Get good, bruh"

    Was Captain after been away a while, we had abductors, and i was glad to see abductors doing a gimmick. We tried to talk, but overzealous security got in the way, can't blame them really.

    Despite Security doing their best to kill them, they still wanted to help, after station was wrecked by loose singulo, and meteors. 11/10 love to see such RP, and gimmicks.

    Typos BEGONE (hopefully at least)

    Encountered interesting bug during recent cargo round. We sent the shuttle to CC, but the shuttle was still there. Despite it being in transit, notice the screen saying "Cargo 0018"
