  1. Because even though the money is more worthless than worthless at the moment (we need to fix that), it's still fun bit of roleplay to take part in. Last time I tried to make people walk a small distance to the ATM to retrieve 10 credits, our botany rebelled and called for my demotion, so that was unpleasant, to say the least. I don't see any harm in it.
  2. This seems like a critical piece of code that needs implementing right away. In all seriousness, would be nice.
  3. I agree and sorta disagree really. Maybe give the Medical Borg a welder and some cable coil, as well as a mini-fabber that can do it. That way, it totally does not MURDER the whole purpose of robotics, but it does not need to totally rely on them too. Borg would also need a surgeon to attach the limbs, so there is still quite a bit of interaction.
  4. Is it possible to make it have a less of a chance of appearing in the random selection, but still be a variable in it? Or are all the random rounds selected at equal variables? It'd still be good to see Xenos appear now and then, without an admin forcing it if he feels in the mood.
  5. Name: T.3 Cyborg Series. Age: 2 Years since release. Gender: 2 Voice options available, although Nano Transen default settings are to male. Race: Cyborg Blood Type: Standard Issue Power Cell, although the T.3 manual heavily recommends a more efficient power cell is installed for optimum efficiency. General Occupational Role(s): A T.3 unit can be installed into any Cyborg chassis, including Janitorial, Engineering and Medical. Biography: The corridor was dark, the only signs of light being the flickering PDA. It's owner, a Vox, lay sprawled across the ground, its only movement was a slight nudge as an airlock tried to close. The glass white airlock slid closed, felt the obstruction, flashed red and opened. The only sound, hissing nitrogen from its leaking tank and the general groan of the stations superstructure. Suddenly, a cradle of sound, the PDA's screen slowly fizzling a picture into view. Breaaaaaeeeaaaaa-ave you had enough with your Cyborgs being more inefficient than effective? Wanted a reliable design on a tight supply budget? J.I industries, in accompaniment with Nano Transen, present the T.3 series MMI unit for Cyborgs! The screen changes to an image of a rotating Man Machine Interface, looking as shiny and as sleek as it could on the tiny resolution. After the success of the T.2 series, we listened for your feedback. We heard that although you enjoyed the simplistic user interface and array of devices to fill precise roles, you wanted the power of a T unit in the standard chassis that even the most novice of robotics departments could manufacture. So we took the core, crucial elements of the T.2 unit and placed it into our new product, ready to sell. The T.3 MMI effectively neutralises the memory of the brain and uses its processing capabilities to the utmost ability. This makes the T.3 a favourite choice among security as yesterday's top criminal could become today's top of the line T.3 Security unit! If you wish for an MMI that does not purge the memory of the holder, talk to one of our cargo managers about the T.3e model. T.3 units equip an older model of speech unit, so that less power and processing is used and more on the task at hand. This is what gives our units the trademark 'Statement' speech. Once more, this is available to upgrade manually or with the T.3v model. All models sold separately. So do not delay, order today! Speak to your local quartermaster abou- *click* The PDA's screen promptly went black as the helmeted figure glared at it through a lime green visor. The room had been illuminated quite a bit more by the lights on the side of the helmet, the turn of his head washing more light upon the other new figure. He wore the black armour and green visor like him, but white stripes in the contrary to his blue. The defibrillator panels buzzed as they lay on the slumped Vox's chest, and the kneeling figure shook his head. "Nothing out of this one, we took too long getting here sir." "I see... Right." The standing suit raised his hand to the side of his helmet and pressed down, his voice being sent straight back through his headset as he spoke. "Move on." Qualifications: A receipt lays on top of a still paper wrapped crate. The robotics department it was delivered too looks rather unusually empty... Congratulations on the order of your T.3 Cyborg deluxe package! This box contains the following as well as necessary manuals and spare critical parts: T.3-C.1 - Standard/Civilian class, used for tour guides or department assists. T.3-M.2 - Medical class, used for surgical treatment or front line medicine assisting. T.3-D.3 - Mining class, used for mining in even the most inhospitable asteroids. T.3-E.4 - Engineering class, used for maintaining the station and able to repair other T.3 units. T.3-J.5 - Janitorial class, able to efficiently do the 'dirty work' as well as any human operator. T.3-B.6 - Service class, an efficient waiter or personal assistant to any department. T.3-S.7 - Security class, the improved beepsky that you were all hoping for. T.3-P.8 - Personnel class, the programming of the T.3 scaled down onto a Personal AI processor. T.3-A.9 - AI class, the most advanced of our T.3 line, is regarded as one of the safest of the AI's available on today's market! Employment Records: The T.3 units have been given a soft launch onto the station, mostly in non-critical departments such as Janitorial, Service, Civilian and Personnel class. Within the last two weeks, the more crucial departments units have been introduced, although the A.9 has yet to be used in a shift. Security Records: [Notice] T.3 MMI's are notably good at being used for borgification, the wipe of personality and memory letting us return the 'crew' to active service. [Record] Only two minor disturbances, both with the rather simplistic vocalisation leading to frustrated assault on the units. Both times were on the unit designated as 'T.3-B.6' Medical Records: [service notice] The T.3 unit has been a crucial element in maintaining the medbay. It is a common sight to see the Medical class sitting in the waiting room and scanning for injuries, treating the scuff and the surgical emergencies, allowing the more intermediate to be handled by Medical staff. It certainly helps to remove the load on the team and I'd recommend purchase of a second Medical unit. On a side note, we also appreciate the Janitorial unit visiting the medbay on frequent shifts and helping to keep the chance of infection down. Personnel Photo (Appearance text): An outdated T.2 service class unit, still used on a select few NanoTransen stations. It is vastly outnumbered by the T.3 series. Commendations [only to be added by admin]: Reprimands [only to be added by admin]: Other Notes: Borgs are my favourite class, so why not make a sheet about my little character(s)
  6. Decided to have a crack at this, because who doesn't? First order of business, I've started the overhaul of the Medical Items sheet. It is nowhere near complete, but it is looking better than the sorry state it was in. http://nanotrasen.se/wiki/index.php/Medical_Items
