  1. I just quoted the Advanced Rules, this is technically already the case; it's just that most people who eat xenomicrobes sort of ignore that part of the rules.
  2. Technically, it seems that eating xenomicrobes makes you an antag. Crew would have plenty of reason to shoot you to death.
  3. Very strongly against antag kill objectives giving greentext for temporary kills. A good chunk of the difficulty in kill objectives comes from having to dispose of a body or otherwise hide it in an area that's inaccessible; your proposal would make it so I can get an easy greentext by magdumping on someone in the middle of the hallway, something which has no stakes or consequences for anyone because they'll just get cloned and be back in 4 minutes. Also against giving any indicator to the mark that they're due to be assassinated because that literally removes all subterfuge from the equation and gives them a meta alarm that they should get a weapon "just in case". No one is entitled to survive a full round of SS13, especially when people are specifically out to kill you.
  4. Food is extremely easy to create from silver slime cores, and after the 20 minute mark Xenobio can quickly and efficiently produce near-infinite amounts of food. This should be kept in mind if you're designing a station goal that revolves around food production.
  5. At the urging of a friend, I first tried SS13 over 11 years ago, back when Goon was king and two years before Paradise existed. I don't remember much about the time except: The lag was fucking awful, and a framerate in the teens (or lower!) was commonplace The community was much rougher around the edges, probably due to all of us being immature teens I couldn't stomach the sluggish gameplay and awful controls (much worse than modern hotkey mode, for sure), so I disappointed my friend by dropping the game. As years went by, I'd occasionally see Youtube videos of people playing SS13 and having great fun, and pop back in, only to become alienated again. Most times, I'd pop into whatever server was at the top of the browser, fumble about, punch myself, break light fixtures with a toolbox, then quit out of boredom. It was only around 2019 that something finally clicked, and I was able to play out full rounds without losing interest. I mostly played on Fulp for 2019 and a chunk of 2020 before migrating to Paradise, which has been my main server ever since.
