  1. I mean, I just dislike lavaland's loot overall. It's way too powerful compared to what you get on station. You could just make it so the armor/loot/weapons/etc dont work on station other than legion core. But i agree that if the mobs arent getting nerfed you shouldnt nerf to essentials to healing either. Especially since pretty much everything there can break your bones and finish you fast.

  2. People who complain about lava land loot being over powered don't do mining on lava land. The mining nerf was way to harsh. Legion cores need to be able to heal internal bleeding and return limbs because on lava land it is easy to gain those effects. If you are unlucky the first Goliath that hits you can give you internal bleeding or break a bone. You need medical supplies in the pod because it is really easy to take damage on lava land and settling for going back to med bay after every fight with a regular mob is stupid. Nerfing lava land while keeping the same difficulty with the mobs is just ridiculous. Patches are genuinely made better than legion cores now. It shouldnt have to be a tradition for miners to raid medbay for medical supplies for survival on lava land. There isnt even a source of burn patches inside the vendor reward. Only brute force kits. Lava land is in a state now where it isnt worth doing because none of the loot is worth taking the time to amass the resources to try and get. This was starting to become a problem since mining was updated to make it closer in line with other lava lands since the ai was made more difficult with bosses. Now this only exaserbates the issue since most of the loot you get now from mega fauna is kind of pathetic and not worth the effort taken to receive. The spectral blade, most of the effects of the drakes blood potion, Fireball wand, lava staff, the colluses in general, the ash storm staff, etc. All of the later rewards are no longer worth the effort to try and get. a lot of the peoples problems with lava land and the loot people get stem from them being an issue with the players themselves and their use of their gear. There are rules in place to prevent people from just valid hunting antags and if there is a problem with the player themselves doing that then it can be admin ticketed. They also have a problem with mining turning into monster hunting instead of just mining, but how about instead of just nerfing all the things miners need to survive how about we just reverse mining to just the asteroid again. Id kind of prefer that than lava land in its current state. Sure it was boring but the difficulty matched the possible rewards you could get.

  3. Ye, seems alright. People can explain or at most there can be an asterisk denoting that some roles might have more access than shown.

  5. For those of you who go about here, I previously made a list about upgradable items upon the station. Since then, there has been a lot of changes and there have been quite a few updates to a lot of items, some of which none of the crew even know they can upgrade. Today, I've decided to finish the list that I never got to fixing due to RL and admin duties. So let us begin! Anything on this list is to do with the Rapid Part Exchange and the items you can put in it. I will not be including beakers as those require you to deconstruct the machine, put them in manually and re-construct it. If you wish to do that, that is fine. The same goes with APCs and power cells. This only counts for machines / upgrades count for the station. I may make one for mining, engineering outpost, ect. Also, some items I found that can be upgraded didn't seem to have any form of effect, but I have included them so you lot can dive into the code and yell at me for being lazy. 6. Certain in-game roles (Captain, NT Rep, IAA, Magistrate, etc) are expected to be played with some level of seriousness. When playing one of these roles, if you photograph your ass and fax it to CC, you're probably not playing the role with the appropriate level of seriousness. It is appropriate for the Clown, or a random Civilian, to try pranking CC in this manner. It isn't appropriate for the IAA, Captain, or other crew trusted with fax access, to be doing it. Previously, we've handled this via strictly IC means, like demotions, or BSAs. Now, I'm going to start considering butt-faxes like this as Captain/NTR/Magistrate/IAA as a sign you're not taking the role with the required degree of seriousness. This means that if I see an IAA butt-fax CC for no reason within a couple minutes of shift start (as I saw yesterday), henceforth I'm going to consider that a good reason to job ban the player from the role, until they start treating the role with the higher level of seriousness it requires. Roles like Captain, IAA, NTR, Magistrate, etc are intended to be taken somewhat seriously. While we understand and expect some antics, treating them completely non-seriously will get you job banned.
