  1. 1) A ton of our game modes feature security heavily, yet they are frequently under/not staffed. Inexperienced security players have a massive effect on the round. Hence we have a actually need to fix the causes of the staffing issues. 2) When Tide breaks into science and needs to be removed, who gets called? Science is not usually the place people go to harass because its a slow shift. Security has to deal with antags, people harassing them, and people harassing other departments.

  3. Malf AIs only occur during round with traitors, and automatically get access to traitor comms, so if you really want an ally with hands just...cooperate with your fellow traitors, in exchange for all the useful shit an AI can do for them.

  5. However to give this an effective countermeasure I'd like to propose that - just much like terror spider eggs or sling tumors - that they can be removed via surgery. This may sound a little strong now, but it'd be just realistic and reasonable for surgeons to be able to remove the nanites entirely. Cost should be a factor here. Nanites should be easy to be put into the victims head at low cost, though harder to activate in order to control someones will. You could also put it on a timer similiar to borers where it takes a specific time for someone to be converted to the AIs will.

  7. Now, this is a tale from the far reaches of Baystation, onboard the SEV Torch. It had been a quiet shift, everyone was either talking or working, the poor janitor had been attempted murdered by the mime, but survived and the mime was swiftly arrested. Everything seemed fine, except... The mime had been a mere puppet for something far worse, a mindslave trying to fulfill his masters impossible wishes. That master were currently loading a revolver in a dark spot. Loaded and with spare ammo, he hid the gun in his pocket, the joys of holdout weapons, and continued towards the brig, intent on retriving his puppet. The first officer got a single shot on him, but to no avail, the puppeters work vest deflecting the shot, soon the officer fell on the floor, clutching his wounds as he begged for mercy. "Please! I surrender! I SURRENDER" He begged, but the puppeter was already unloading his revolver and putting in new bullets, the pain of a non-removable magazine. Another officer came rushing to his aid, firing his tazer but missing every shot as the puppeter evaded each shot, continuing to load his revolver. Aware of the threat, the officer pulled his lasergun instead, took aim and fired.... BOOM He had hit a transfer valve, causing it to detonate, filling the hallway with smoke and debris, allowing the puppeter to fully load his gun in relative peace. The puppeter took aim and nailed the officer right in the head, thankfully just a fleshwound, but enough to incapitate him. Another officer showed up, an unathi, an angry female one armed with a big laser rifle. The puppeter took aim and nailed her right in the head... She stumbled, she screamed in pain, but was still standing, the bullet had lodged itself in her snout, the bleeding wound.... Healing, blood drying and clotting, new scales growing.. She took aim and fired, dropping the puppeter with a well aimed shot to the leg. That day, Alfred learned that Bay Unathi were a tad different from Para. He lamented his lack of knowledge as he bleed out on the floor...

  8. This game is fucking great. Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead can best be described as a zombie survival game, but just so much more. The controls will make you be like "fucking unplayable" until you get a damn grip on reality, woman up, and fucking kick the shit out of everything and be the best. You wish. This game is a roguelike based in a zombie apocalypse type scenario, the game is originally ASCII but you have tilesets at your disposal. Us PROs use Retrodaysx20, but really just use whatever you feel like if you wanna play. Be warned of missing graphics if you use anything else, though. This game is so fucking diverse too. In one character, you can be a newbie martial artist who happens to know ninjutsu, and in another you can be apart of the national guard but your character is a master damn sewer and nothing else.(if you put points into tailoring). For example, my character is a heavily-mutated god-tier massive killer who only gets hurt by spitters and their damn concentrated acid. Power armor, BIONICS, what more can you fucking ask for? You can fistfight zombie hulks. You can fistfight a jabberwock. You can fistfight an actual horde. And you can do all of the above, at the same time, while DYING! FUN, RIGHT?! Here, let me share you guys MY screenshots and moments in this game. Totally none of them show off. Above are some of my current characters traits, stats and skills. Your skills can be affected by pain, which I am currently going through (FIRE FUCKING HURTS, OKAY?). FUCKING JABBERWOCKS!!!! are weak. to me. atleast. MININUKE. FUCKING MININUKE, WHO DOESN'T WANT THAT?!?!? MY CHARACTER SHOOTS LIGHTNING FROM HER HANDS AND THEN EMITS A SHOCKWAVE THAT STUNS ZOMBIES. FUCKING ULTIMATE WARRIOR HERE. HYDRAULIC MUSCLES HOLY FUCK DELICIOUS RIGHT? YOU CAN CHUG MUSTARD. CHUG MUSTARD LOOKING AT YOU, NECA. My hand slipped while trying to drink water. Just get the fucking game. http://en.cataclysmdda.com/ It might seem complicated when you first start, but it's so fucking worth it. We also have a skype chat, of which I'll go ahead and start adding people in once they decide that this game is their jam. Ahem. /rant
